Fun for baby to explore on her own. It seems a bit simple, but it keeps her interest. Great for trips in the car; keeps her playing but is also cuddly when time to sleep.

This is a review for the Skip Hop Hug & Hide Owl. A warning for all parents to beware of the wooden ring on this toy. I was shocked to find my 7 month old son with a broken piece of the wooden ring in his mouth. Thankfully I was right next to him and took it away before he could choke on it. If my head was turned away from him for longer he would of choked on the broken piece. I am shocked there is not a recall on this toy.

My husband saw another baby with this and wanted to get it for our son who was 3 months at the time. It's a little pricey, but did entertain him with all the textures, crinkly noise and internal bell. It's been five months and the it has slowly broken..the rubber leaf came off first and got lost. Then it fell off of the bed and the ring broke. I'm disappointed with the quality, but my son did like it..

This toy is fantastic for my almost 4 month old. We have the Skip Hop activity mat and he was always so fascinated by the owl that hangs in the center, I knew I had to get this product when I saw it. He loves grabbing the ring and scrunching the wings to make sound. He is also entranced by faces so the owl's large eyes are super interesting to him. I highly recommend this item!
