I figured that making a semi-universal spout cover wouldn't be that hard... but it is.
This is a cute plastic tchotke that falls off our spout cover. It has a strap underneath that I'm not sure what's good for.
As spout covers go... nothing works like your own hand, i guess. Plus, it's free.

We live in an older house with a daunting metal bathtub spout that just screams "stitches are in your future!" But I have since thwarted the spout's ominous foresight with this cute blue whale. It fits securely and doesn't slip off and is thick enough to cushion the blow from even our menacing metal spout. Totally worth the price, which I thought was nice and low.

It's a spout cover so nothing to go crazy about. I gave it five stars because there's nothing wrong with it and it looks nice. It does what it's supposed to be doing and it fits our tub spout even though I thought it would be hard to find something suitable for it. I'm happy with it. My son even talks to it sometimes, as I told him it's our "friend" that protects us from hurting our head on the spout. So, it's good for me.

looks cute, but isn't much softer than the spout itself. works well enough to keep. that is, as long as it stays on. my 15 month old easily pulls it off.

We have a big elaborate bath faucet and I was worried we'd never find a cover to fit, but although we had to twist off the edge this actually fit and is so cute.

This is a great product to protect our son from hurting himself. The only criticism I can think of is that prior to installing the bath spout cover he really didn't pay attention to the bath spout. Now our son is intrigued by the blue whale and he keeps reaching for it...oh well!

we bought this for my now 4y daughter soon after she was born and we were allowing her to splash in the tub around 6 months with several inches of water. I really wanted to find a product that kept her safe and didn't require work to maintain (e.g. NO MOLD). This product has been amazing. Have not had to take it off to clean it, it has stayed its pretty blue color, and my daughter has not had a head bump ever. Very cute, doesn't affect water flow, stays put, no mold. It just does the job.

The whale was super-easy to attach and the adjustable fins ensure a snug fit. My 6 month old baby used to be afraid to see water pouring out, but now that the water pours out through the whale, his curiosity has been sparked. I don't believe there is a safer, cuter, or better-fitting product in the market today.

I was having difficulty finding a spout cover for our oddly shaped faucet and this product worked better than any others, because it's not fully enclosed, which made it much easier to slip on over faucet, and can be sized to fit. It's also very cute and my daughter has bumped it many times without a second thought :)

I wanted this to work, but unfortunately it didn't work on the spout we have! My LO will play with it from time to time, but I guess i have paid alot for this kind of toys :(

Cute faucet cover! It covers the hard metal faucet so my baby doesnt hit her head. Its really cute too!
