I think these bottles are overall ok. I didn't boil them when I got them, so no cracks on the bottom or color changes as some complain. I think dr brown or born free are better as far as gas reducing go, but these ones are super easy to wash and put together in comparison with dr brown & born free. My baby is ok with the nipple since it is similar to dr brown & born free (both dr brown & born free actually use same identical nipples!). I prefer to use these bottles in the daytime when she is up, moving around & I can burp her realllll well, at night I use my other bottles which do not require that much work.. Lol. But overall ok.

I love the bottle at first but like what the other reviews have said, it cracks in the bottom after weeks of using it. I just throw them away and purchased a tommee tippee bottles. My son don't like the tomme tippe, the flow is too fast for him. I normally feed him at midnight and he takes the milk with the similac bottle but with the tommee bottles he wakes up and cries. So I have no choice now but to buy another set of similac bottles. But maybe I shouldn't sterilize it these time or put it in the warmer so it won't deform.

The baby loves this bottle. She was able to hold the bottle herself and drink water at 4 1/2 mo. It is light and easy to grasp. I don't use it for formula feedings as I prefer glass bottles. Warning: do not boil. I did not see this warning on packaging and threw the bottle with other glass bottles into a boiling water. Not good:) had to purchase another bottle but don't mind at all. It is much better than sippy cup at 5 mo.

These new similac bottles do not work for me. My son doesnt like them at all. the top is way too big and the top of the nipple is not as long as in the other bottles so he can only suck on the short end, and that makes it fall out of his mouth.

I was absolutely in love with this bottle when I first bought it (so did my newborn son). The nipple is perfect for his mouth, the bottle never leaked and it seemed to help my newborns gas problem (that stir thing inside works wonders). I still love the bottles but it has its cosmetic problems. The bottom of the bottle started to look...I don't know how to explain it other then it looked cloudy. Then I noticed tiny cracks in the bottle where the cloudy area was and the numbers and lines up to 4 are cracked and peeling off. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE BOTTLES FOR 3 WEEKS. I really love this bottle but they need to fix this problem. Until then, I will not be buying it again. I would buy it again if they confirmed that the problems with the bottle are fixed. I will be calling Similac to report the issue as well.

The simply smart bottle really is a smart bottle. This bottle is much less fussy than the other "popular" brand that have way too many pieces to them, yet everyone tries to say they are the best to a first time mom like me. The silicone nipples are easy for my son to feed off of, and I like how quick and fast the formula mixes with the paddle on the inside. It is easy to clean and they have held up to the constant trips in the dishwasher. I am formula feeding only so a good bottle counts, and this is a great one. Would reccomend it to anyone. So glad I picked Similac bottles and not the "other" brand.:)

I received one as a free sample and I have been using it with my newborn and I really like it. I am breastfeeding and I think this nipple is most similar to myself. I had to supplement with a little formula and this bottle has minimal air bubbles and mixes very well. I also put my pumped milk in there. I used playtex nursers with my first 2 but I think I like this bottle better.I will buy more!

Admitedly, I haven't tried all the bottles out there, but this is the bottle my baby prefers. I breast fed my baby primarily, but had to work in a bottle occasionally. I tried the Medela and Avent bottles initially. I had major problems with fussiness, gas and spit up with the Medela bottles. My little one had trouble with the Avent nipple - she would gag and arch her back, needing to take breaths away from the bottle. After a long night of trying to appease her, I tried the Similac bottle I got in the mail as a free sample and all of those previous troubles seemed to be fixed. She has very little gas with this bottle, rarely if ever spits up and easily latches onto the nipple. I have never had problems with leaking and have been pretty impressed with these actually. They aren't that expensive and are easy to use. I'm happy as long as my little girl is happy.

The bottle is very convenient. Not too many parts and you do not have to be genius to use it.
The opening is wide and very convenient.

However, after only less than a month use the bottom part of the bottle lost it's regular texture (as the rest of the bottle), this is the first time it happened to me with a bottle and I used all of them (Avent, Dr. Brown, Evenflow etc), there are also tiny cracks in the bottom of the bottle. I have two bottles and in both of them the same phenomenon.....

I recently found these bottles on clearance at a store and thought I would give them a try. I really like that there are only a few parts to wash and there is an indicator that tells you whether the seal is tight or not. I own 4 of these bottles and one does leak but I think it's because the indicator is not completely showing...possibly a flaw with the bottle. I also really like the formula storage cap (sold separately) that stores formula for up to an 8oz bottle and just snaps on the bottle like a cap. Overall a good bottle!

I bought this bottle thinking I would be able to mix formula in it (which I can with another brand of liner bottles), but these bottles are terrible! They leak around the nipple, the vent and it leaks during feeding or if the bottle tips. I regret buying them and would love to get my money back. In addition the plastic bottles seem rather cheap and don't seem able to withstand say a good drop. I would NOT RECOMMEND these bottles.

These are really great bottles by Similac. I am a fan of the top, which shows you with certainty that the bottle is sealed shut and will not leak. My baby likes the fuller nipple. I like the clear oz indicators, and the fact that it has not leaked once.
