About Chlorine
"The wood pulp used in our diapers has not been processed with chemicals containing chlorine. This prevents dangerous chlorinated toxins from being released into the environment through the pulp production process.

Did You Know?
If every household in the U.S. with babies replaced just one package of diapers processed with chemicals containing chlorine with our chlorine free diapers, we could prevent 2,800 lbs of chlorinated hydrocarbons from polluting our air, lakes and streams. Your choice of our chlorine free products can help reduce the amount of chlorinated toxins released into the environment and help make the world a healthier place for your family and generations to come.

A Note About Gel

Seventh Generation uses absorbent polymer (gel) in our diapers because it is the best method we have found for keeping babies dry and reducing diaper rash. Our exhaustive research on this gel has shown that it is non-toxic and safe for babies while helping keep them dry and comfortable. Independent scientific research on this chemically inert gel, sodium polyacrylate, has shown that it is non-toxic, not carcinogenic, and non-irritating to the skin.

This diaper is wonderful. While visiting my son and his wife and their additional two sons, it was apparent that this baby may go a while between changes. However, the diaper not only holds up, it doesn't leak.

We switched to these on our pediatrician's recommendation when our newborn developed a terrible diaper rash, and although they cost more than some other diapers, we think they're worth it. Not only did they help with the rash, but they're also strong and don't leak.

Comments about Newborn Diapers Case - 160ct.:

I have tried Huggies to Pampers which others had suggested. It was very convenient to see the color strip when the baby peed, but the chemicals in it was starting to give him a rash. I had all 3 types of diapers available for me to try. The 3rd try was the 7th Generation & the the diaper rash started disappearing immediately. Although, it's not as convenient that I am unable to see the pee line nor is it the most visibly pleasing as it's brown in color, that is ok with me. My baby seems comfortable with the 7th Generation Diaper.

Our first child is 2 weeks old, and we've had absolutely zero problems with these diapers. She's too skinny to fit in the bummis we bought, so we're still going to use these diapers until she can wear the cloth diapers. We've had zero leaks. We love the idea behind the product - no chlorine, low chemical content etc. The attachment tabs work well and have yet to let go on their own, and yet they don't stick to the baby's skin.

My daughter was a preemie and its one of the best diapers that fit her. She was slightly below 5 lbs and it still fit her and it did not cause leaks unlike the huggies snugglers which caused her to leak so many times. It's a good brand and I am glad that it is also eco-friendly. :)

I dont think 7th Gen are any rougher then Huggies sepreme -- I do think think that the Pampers (soft & dry) smell funny!! I love the 7th Gen diapers I love the cream color of them. I do find with all of diapers that if I use a larger size it works better for my boy! example his is 18lbs i should and can use a size 3 but I feel like a 4 fits him better --- I made the switch on earthday and have been happy with them!

We really wanted something both Eco friendly and Baby friendly . We have 6 older children and have tryed others but these are the best.
I like that these are the only Eco friendly diapers I have found that have all the leak stoping features ie;better leg bands then other eco diapers we have tryed.

I ordered these diapers long before my twins were born and was a little dubious when I opened a package to check them out. Yes they are wider then Pampers Swaddlers and they feel rougher on the outside. At the hospital they supplied us with Pampers and when we got home I wasn't sure about using the 7th Generation on my little babies. (Side note, when they got home they weighed 6 pounds and 7.3 pounds...were in no way small twins). Well I soon ran out of the Pampers and dug into the 7th Generation. I was very very impressed! Not only did they fit the kids well they also kept in ALL the pee and poo, something the Pampers couldn't do. My kids are now 5 weeks old and we haven't had a single blow out with these diapers. My little girl is still comfortably wearing the Newborn size and is over 8 pounds but my little boy who is 9 pounds has graduated to size 1 because his stomach is wider. Oh and did I mention no irritation and no diaper rash?! I love these diapers and will continue to use them exclusively.

My son is 7.5 pounds and these diapers are tight around the legs. The material is rough and stiff like the brown paper towels found in a gas station restroom. I don't understand how urine seems to be absorbed by his clothes and bedding, yet the diaper is completely dry.

These diapers are terrible. I use cloth at home but bought these to use on a trip. My baby fit well into the Newborn size but they leaked horribly. I decided that maybe because he was small but not a newborn that this particular size could not contain the volume he produced. I got size 1 and proceeded to have the same/worse leakage problems. Double diapering didn't seem to help. Could not wait to get back to cloth at home.

I bought the 4 pack before my son was born, and I wish I hadn't. These diapers do not fit and are shaped in a very funky way. Diapers leak. In order to prevent a wide open gape at my son's belly, the diapers have to be on so tight that red rings are left around his legs. Not good. I'm bummed I have 2 more packs to go through.

These diapers are WONDERFUL! My newborn was barely 6 pounds when he was born and these diapers were a little to big for him initially. We ended up using Pampers Preemie Swaddlers for the first week. My baby's skin was very red and irritated from the Pampers. After he gained a little weight, he fit into the Newborn size perfect and the red skin immediately went away. These diapers do NOT leak. I had more blowouts with the Pampers than I have with these diapers. I really like the tabs on them. They just velcro to the diaper and there is no sticky tape like the Pampers. They are MUCH more comfortable for my baby and better for his skin. I purchased 6 packs of the Newborn size and 4 packs of size 1. I LOVE THESE DIAPERS! Highly recommended.

These diapers were terrific for my son's first week home from the hospital. He was 7 lbs. 9 oz. when he was born and outgrew them fast so I would recommend getting a few of the 40 count bags instead of the pack of 4 unless you know that you are having a small baby. These were much better than the Pampers Swaddlers we got in the hospital. With the Pampers he leaked through the diapers every time he peed. The Seventh Generation Newborns have a nice snug fit for when babies are small which seems to prevent leaks.
