I use these on my baby who has sensitive and eczema prone skin. He had diaper rashes frequently and nothing cleared it as fast as using these wipes did. We were even using water washcloths, or tissues. They are very wet and have no odor. He doesn't cry and cringe when we use these wipes on his bottom. They however aren't great for cleaning gooey hands. That is why I only gave them 4 stars. If your baby suffers from sensitive, and eczema skin these are perfect for you.

I believe seventh generation changeed their wipes so that people that generally do not buy their products would be interested. They are too wet!! She began to get rashes- where as I never experienced this with 7th generation wipes before. I keep trying to find the old ones on websites, etc... I am on the search for a new wipe.

I chose these wipes after trying quite a few of the fragrance, chlorine-free choices including Earth's Best and those by the Honest Co. These were thick and sturdy, never tearing while I wiped the poop, and they weren't too wet or full of suds. But most importantly, they are paraben and phthalate-free (best reason #1). Also, since convenience is a big deal, the refills pull out perfectly, one-by-one, in our 6 year old wipes warmer from our eldest (best reason #2) (nothing's worse than having to pull apart wipes in the middle of the night). Only drawback - price, but worth it anyway.

I used the original wipes when my son was first born and actually stopped using them because they were thin and had a weird smell, added to that if you lost the wipes down in the case, OUCH on sticking your finger down in there. I figured I would give the new wipes and try and they are MUCH better. Thick and a nice amount of wetness, no more weird smell. I don't understand how people think these are rough, feel pretty soft to me. I also read reviews where a lot of people mentioned they weren't chlorine free, but if you go to their website they tell you they are and the process they use to whiten the wipes. I will be ditching the Huggies and going back to Seventh Gen.

We think these wipes are great. They are not as soft as the original formula but they are better for dirty diapers. Baby 2 is due soon and we will continue to buy these. I feel much better rubbing these on a baby rather than something as chemical-laden as Pampers!

This product used to be good, but with the new improvements is much better! I am back to being a regular customer of these wipes. The thicker design is much easier to use on "tough" messes, and a problem I had before of the wipes not being wet enough has been remedied 100%. I love that the price is a bit more reasonable than other non-toxic, chemical free wipes

I have a 2 and a half year old and a 6 month old. Seventh Generation was my brand of choice ever since my first child was born. They used to have great wipes. Now they've "improved" them and made them thicker and wetter. If you liked the old version, then this new version is a real disappointment. Bring the old version back!

I have been using 7th Generation wipes for two years. When I first saw they had changed the design, I was disappointed as I really liked the old ones. But I have actually grown to love them. Why? The old wipes were really thin, and we always needed 5-6 wipes to clean up a messy job. The new wipes are such higher quality, that we generally only need one or two. Less wipes for each clean-up means less money spent overall on wipes.

Both my children wear Seventh Generation diapers exclusively, so I've been loyal to the brand with wipes, also. THAT SAID... they recently changed the product and now their wipes are HORRIBLE. While they are certainly moist enough to do the job, the wipes are way too thick and stiff. I recently switched over to Earth's Best because I prefer an environmentally friendly/chlorine free wipe... theirs are way better than Seventh Gen's. Believe the reviews, and pass on their wipes.

The old wipes were thin: Thin enough that you could see the poo on your hand that came through the wipe if you didnt double layer.

When 7th gen changed their product (thicker wipes) people went bolistic. The current wipes are not any worse than any other wipes out there. I think they are now more comparable to the chemical plant wipes in thickness.

They are not rough or harsh or stinky. They are simply thick enough to keep the poo from passing through the wipe onto your skin in visible chunks. Haters, please stop hating.

On my 3rd baby using 7th generation wipes and they go and pull this on us?!? NOT chlorine free anymore, made of CHEAPER wood pulp, and MORE EXPENSIVE. What is wrong with you 7th generation? Are you that desperate to expand your market that you'll cheapen your product that so many people loved as it was? One more kid to diaper, that's all I had left. Now you put out this junky product redesign and I have to go find a new brand of wipes.

As others have said: ingredients are less green, packaging is less green, ingredients are worse for skin, sudsy residue, no longer chlorine-free (apparently), thicker wipes means fewer wipes for your money. Boo to 7th Gen on this one.

I have been using these wipes for a long time because they are the only natural wipes I could find that are alcohol free. Earth's Best, Babyganics and even Burt's Bees wipes have alcohol in them. As opposed to the other reviews, I love the new formula. I love that they are thicker and wet. The old ones were not wet enough. I think wet wipes clean better and I wipe my daughter with a soft clean cloth or use baby powder to dry out. The only disappointing thing about the new formula is it is no longer chlorine free.
