        About Chlorine
"The wood pulp used in our diapers has not been processed with chemicals containing chlorine.  This prevents dangerous chlorinated toxins from being released into the environment through the pulp production process.

        Did You Know?
If every household in the U.S. with babies replaced just one package of diapers processed with chemicals containing chlorine with our chlorine free diapers, we could prevent 2,800 lbs of chlorinated hydrocarbons from polluting our air, lakes and streams. Your choice of our chlorine free products can help reduce the amount of chlorinated toxins released into the environment and help make the world a healthier place for your family and generations to come.

        We Disclose All Ingredients

Our diapers are made of chlorine free wood pulp, poly backing, and a soft poly outer cover. Absorbency is enhanced through the use of SAP, super absorbent polymer (gel).

        A Note About Gel

We use absorbent polymer (gel) in our diapers because it is the best method we have found for keeping babies dry and reducing diaper rash. Our exhaustive research on this gel has shown that it is non-toxic and safe for babies while helping keep them dry and comfortable. Independent scientific research on this chemically inert gel, sodium polyacrylate, has shown that it is non-toxic, not carcinogenic, and non-irritating to the skin.

      Review of Second Generation Diapers

      By Sarah B.

      Verified Buyer

      Comments about Seventh Generation Case of Diapers - Sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6:

We love second generation diapers! But what I really don't like are the Lorax versions. I ordered second generation diapers through another site, and they were not lorax versions, and the tabs are much bigger and stronger. For some reason, the lorax versions are not as strong. Still awesome diapers, but I'll be glad when the lorax versions are done with!

I cloth diaper most of the time but for the few occasions when I need a disposable this is the best more natural one there is. Its the ONLY disposable that does not give my daughter a rash and it even helps clear up rashes from cloth dipes if she gets one. GREAT product!! Absorbes well! Only downfall is her ebf poo does explode often but I use a cloth diaper cover over them so that cotains it! CLOTH is really awesome!

I love these diapers! even if they weren't more environmentally friendly than the other major brands, I'd still love them -- they are very absorbent, they work well on very mobile babies, and they are strong. I've tried "green" diapers that are very flimsy, don't absorb and are expensive to boot. 7th Gen. are the best diapers and they are a great price on diapers..com.

Why they are not selling 7th Generaton anymore is beyond me!! This was an excellent product. I am the grandmother so I have used other brands with my childre and this is by far the best. We were buying them at [@]then they stop selling them so went to buying them on line. Now we can't get them on line. WHY is the question I would like to have an answer to??????

While I prefer to use cloth diapers, a busy and hectic life makes disposable diapers a better fit for my family. I like these diapers because they are gentle on sensitive skin, without harsh chemicals, and are biodegradable. And though they are not the cheapest diaper on the market, they are one of the more affordable environmentally friendly diapers available.

            Comments about Case of Diapers - Sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6:

I was really, really hoping these would work out, since we're currently in an apartment without on-site laundry, and thereby can't realistically use hybrid or cloth diapers as I had originally planned. I happily use a number of SeventhGeneration products, but will not be using these diapers again after we finish off the (heavy sigh) case we bought.

Our 11-week-old is on the small side, having been born 5 weeks premature, and the size 1 diapers fit him quite nicely. Even still, they leak. And leak. And leak. We have to change him about once an hour (sometimes more) just to prevent the absorbancy from being overwhelmed and occasioning yet another trip to the laundromat. And of course that also means a very dissatisfied baby several times each night, when we're not awake to keep a step ahead of the leaks.

Given the need to change more frequently, and all the extra laundry we're doing, I just can't imagine that much benefit to the environment is being maintained by using these diapers.

These are excellent diapers. They are free of all fragrances which is really nice because they don't have that typical "diaper smell". They are super absorbent and my daughter hasn't had any signs of rash whatsoever. They fit real well and we rarely have leaks. The only thing about them is that they run a little small so you night have to buy one size up sooner than you would with other diapers.

I bought these diapers first because they are more sustainable for the environment. Second because they don't have a design on them. I love that they are plain tan diapers. They absorb and distribute the pee well. I am almost through a whole case and I have never had one to leak on me. Will definetly buy again!

We love Seventh Generation diapers. I have tried pampers, huggies, etc. and found these to be the best. They seem to be more absorbant than other brands and of great quality.

                              Comments about Seventh Generation Case of Diapers - Sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6:

I love the Seventh Generation diapers. I have been using them since my first child who is now 2 years old. I love that they do not have designs on them so there is no show through of colors or characters in light colored clothing. They are very absorbant, it is not often we have leak throughs. I love that there is no chlorine used in the making of these diapers. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that they run smaller than other diapers. I found that on my kids I always have to move up before the ending weight range for the size. They definately fit better on the lower end of the weight range. Over all though, these are great diapers and I plan on continuing my use of them.
