We started using these diapers after the regular store brands left a horrible rash on our daughter's bottom. These diapers are terrific! They are soft and absorbsent. I saw another person say they left their baby smelling like urine; I've never experienced that. My baby is now three months old and we've used these diapers since she was about three weeks old. We've also tried Naty, Earth's Best, and Bambo, and the Seventh Gen diapers are the best.

I am a very environmentally conscious person so was excited when I found this product that performs well. Only have had one blow out. They fit well and don't leak. However it was brought to my attention that they are not actually free and clear, they use DYE to make the diaper look like a natural color, not natural at all! The same dye that is used in conventional diapers. Very disappointed to find this out about a company I use to really like.

I bought these primarily because other diaper brands were leaving my newborn with a nasty rash! I love that they contain many less chemicals and perfumes, however, they leave my daughter smelling like urine. Not good! I change her quite often during the day. At first I thought I had not wiped her properly or dried her thoroughly enough after her bath. After switching to Earth's Best and having none of the same issues, I believe that 7th Gen is just not absorbant enough to keep my babe dry and smelling clean.
