I use the teething feeder more as a teether. It works great with a cube of ice in it. My daughter loves to suck and chew on it for relief and a cold blast of water.

Pros:

Cons:
- The mechanics of putting this together is quite clumsy and difficult
- Included me "locking" myself out!
- Bands that are supposed to cling on get misshapen.

I feel that this product has been so over-designed that it is quite difficult to use. I say this because we used another one in the past that was much simpler in design and working with it was a breeze especially compared to this one.

This is the best feeder. I used it for all four of my kids (not the same one) I now bought for my twins. This feeder has a COVER so you can pre load and take with you! No other feeder has that. Also there is a keep cool pod inside so these are the only feeders that are really portable. It is a bit tricky to open - you need to squeeze with two fingers, hold the base and twist but once you get the hang of it - no prob. Great for dining out , kept my kid busy while we ate. Also great for busy moms or parents of multiples who want to teach self feeding and can't hover. Banana is REALLY hard to get out of the mesh so get some replacement bags. Great for all melons, apples, and any food that can break off in a large chunk.

Pros:
Once everything has been put together I guess it works.

Cons:
Putting it together is not easy (especially with food in it).
Locking mechanism is also poorly designed not to mention probably unnecessary. Have managed to "lock" myself out a few times. It then becomes a two person job to unlock it.
