Our daughter started liking these when she was just maybe 5-6 weeks old and still happily plays with them now that she's over 7 months old. I think the fact that she could grip the handle easily early on attracted them to her. Now, she seems to alternate between whether or not she wants to try to mouth the ball part of the handle. I always have one of these in her diaper bag for when we go out and one is in her crib to entertain her when she wakes up. Good price, too!

This toy had a short but sweet life in this household. My daughter loved it, the clear ball held her attention well and she liked gnawing on the handle, which seems well made. That said, the toy is a pain to clean, and we all know how often kids drop things. The kicker is that on the packaging it tells you to"RINSE IT WELL" now, when you rinse this toy, water gets inside the clear plastic ball. Inside the ball is a paper sticker, that then absorbs the water, and the little plastic pellets get stuck in the dampness. Needless to say we didn't rinse it after that, but it grew mold nonetheless and it got thrown out soon. A shame because it's a nice toy.
