These may not seem to be much to "write home about" but out of all the dangling-in-your-face toys that you provide to infants and newborns, my daughter loved these. And after talking to other mommies, they have told me that their babies also love/loved these little dangling toys. Something about the sound, faces, and color contrast appeals to newborns.
Unfortunately it doesn't last very long - it's outgrown easily. BUT when they are babies, the little things are sooo big, and a simple toy that makes them excited, means the entire world at that moment in time, and that did this for me :)
