It stops my 1 year old from getting into kitchen cabinets and some of the adults as well:). It is pretty strong design and none have broken so far even though we are using those drawers and doors daily and several times pulled on them pretty hard. It definitely works if installed correctly.
I also like that latches are hidden inside and there is nothing hanging outside to attrack my son's attention to the cabinets.

They worked great until my son learned to pull the door hard enough to break off the little plastic piece that allow the whole latch to work properly. Because the are so cheap I am able to just replace the broken piece out each time it happens. ( in the picture it is the piece that the finger is pushing on)

After we installed these, it took one accidental tug by us on the cupboard forgetting that it was there before it bent downward and no longer worked. The whole plastic base bent downward. Now all of our cupboards have this plastic extension sticking straight out at eye height with our son just waiting to poke out his eye. These did not last at all and will now leave us with screw holes and plastic and gorilla glue from my failed attempt at superglueing it back up. Frustrating.

I don't really like these. They work ok I guess. They are very difficult to install without a drill and the tape that they include for positioning doesn't stick so you have to hold the pieces in place while you attach them or else get some better tape yourself.
