Comments about Safety 1st Sleepy Baby Nail Clipper:

I have the regular version of this nail clipper (without the light) which I love. I bought this with the light and cannot stand it. You can only cut the center of the fingernail. When you need to angle it to cut towards the corners of the nail, the plastic curve of the clipper body gets in the way. The non-lighted version isn't shaped this way. Get that one instead.

Comments about Safety 1st Sleepy Baby Nail Clipper:

I've used these clippers since my 9-month old was born. I really like the light feature - makes seeing those tiny nails much easier. And currently it keeps my little one so focused on the "light-thingy" that I can clip his nails w/o fuss. He's really into it. The only problem I've had with these since day 1 is that it's impossible for me to clip my son's tiny toe nails - must be because of the lights being on the sides of the clippers and covering part of the clipping surface. For that reason I got Safety 1st regular clippers (w/o light) and they work great on toes. The blades do seem to get dull with use. Overall I'm happy with these clippers and when they get too dull I'll be replacing them for sure.

Comments about Safety 1st Sleepy Baby Nail Clipper:

I'm with Becky - I love these clippers. They are definitely the best for our family. I don't think I could have clipped those tiny newborn nails without the light. And mine are plenty sharp, I've used them for almost a year with no problems. I now put these in all baby gifts that I give new parents.

Comments about Safety 1st Sleepy Baby Nail Clipper:

I love these clippers! I was having an impossible time cutting my 6 mo old nails, he was so squirmy and I felt like I could never see if I was cutting too far down. I was wondering if it was my eyesight. I got these clippers and it immediatly went smoother and I felt like I could see sooo much better. I don't normally write reviews but love these clippers so much I came online to buy a friend some and saw a negative review I wanted to dispute!

Comments about Safety 1st Sleepy Baby Nail Clipper:

These are aweful! I love Safety 1st, and the idea of these clippers, but they are completely useless. The pair I have is dull so it doesn't clip nails properly. Instead, they leave horribly jagged nails behind. The plastic around the tip actually interferes with clipping around edges of the nails and the lights aren't that great. I would've given these 0 stars if I could've.
