We purchased these locks to child-proof our cabinets that have knobs (not handles). The locks are really easy to install, but once installed they are REALLY hard to open! At one point I thought that I would have to cut the lock off of the cabinet. It is very hard to push in both buttons at one time and pull the lock open -- especially when neither button 'pushes' very well. It seems like a good concept but perhaps a cheap construction. We're replacing them this weekend.

I loved this up until my son turned 2. It is really easy to install and just a little difficult to open. BUT the latch becomes weaker over time and my 2 year old has figured out how to open these (pushes the green button and just pulls with all his might to undo the second latch). I am now shopping for new latches.

We have very small knobs on our cabinets and the regular locks didn't keep my toddler out at all but these do. They are impossible to open one handed, but it keeps the kid out.

I had these on a few doors in my kitchen to lock up cleaning supplies same in the bathroom. My 2 and 3 yr old boys can rip them open easily. Also they were just recalled!!!!!!

The locks do work - my little one can't get past them. But they are tough for me to open also, so I only use 1 of the 2 in the pack, on a cabinet that I don't open very often.

This lock works just great, well maid, easy to open and close (for adult) Highly recommend!

NOT only child proof, but parent proof as well. It would be easier to screw my cabinet doors shut than use these; they're horrible!
