My daughter loved this potty when we first bought it. It is durable and easy for her to use on her own. We really like that she can also use it as a step-stool. We were absolutely disgusted though when my husband realized one day that the pink comfy ring is absorbent. He started squeezing it and off-color urine came out. I was appalled that a company would make something that a child uses to potty on would be absorbent. If we had known this before purchasing it, we would not have even thought twice about not buying it.

As a toilet, it's a pain to clean and the hole just seems too small. I prefer the oval, one part to clean Bjorn potty seat.

If you have a smaller/shorter child, this product would not work. The base of this potty is very high off the ground and doesnt allow the child's feet to touch the ground thus not giving the child a sense of stability. The base needs to be made shorter to accomodate all children.
