Comments about Nature Next Bamboo Gate:

Bought this to use in a rental house over vacation for the top of the stairs. My 21 month old conquered it in about 7 seconds. We ended up blocking the stairs with a large toy box instead. Seems like a smaller opening (like a doorway) would allow for greater tension so it might not pop out as easily. I wish someone would come up with an awesome travel gate. Every time we go to a rental house or relative's house with stairs it is a problem.
