My son managed to break it after about a year. However, I haven't come across anything better and it worked well before he broke it, so I am buying it again now that my secong child is getting into my cabinets.

I wish there were more images and explanation to what is it that your purchasing on the site. If i new what the back looked like or directions of how it works then I would've known prior to my purchase that it wouldn't have worked for us. This lazy susan cabinet lock didn't work for us AT ALL. Mainly because our cabinets are angled so w/o drilling a whole into our cabinet we cannot use this product:(

We bought two of these when my first child was 18 months and getting into everything. It takes a couple days to get the hang of opening quickly (for adults), but easy after that. It did break after about 6 months of use, but was well worth the minimal price to buy another. Now that we're onto child #2, I'm buying two more so she can't help herself to the cabinet all day.

I think it would work great but, we could not install in our cabinet; requires flat edge frame. Our frame is cut at an angle. I guess we could put a wedge in.

Comments about Lazy Susan Cabinet Lock:

It works but it's hard to open. It does the job and I'd buy it again, it also serves the purpose not completely locked. But it also limits the way the lazy susan turns, can only go one way now. But it does keep a messy, nosy toddler from dumping all items so it's limiting with it there but worth it in our house!

My husband followed directions exactly as they are on paperwork for this safety lock but the 2 screws they include are made of cheap material and broke off before the screw was in the proper position leaving two very sharp metal pieces sticking out of the side of my hardwood cabinets that are impossible to remove! My husband is very experienced in this sort of thing so it's not user error. The screws are very cheap material. Buy your own screws and throw out the ones they included or you may end up with the same problem.

Comments about Lazy Susan Cabinet Lock:

I beg to differ with the first reviewer, as you do need to drill holes into the side of you door, which is totally ridiculous as you will see those holes after you no longer need this product and remove it. And the manufacturer had every oppty to put holes on the back of it so that it was on the inside of the door.

I don't know about you, but I'm not interested in screwing up my cabinets with holes that are visible. If you are even a tiny bit of a DIY'er, you can drill a small hole into the plastic from the rear, you can install it behind the door instead.

It is also very hard for an adult to open it, so not only is it child proof, but it's adult-proof as well.

Wish someone would come up with a better product. This just is not worth purchasing.

                      it works...

Comments about Lazy Susan Cabinet Lock:

This is the ONLY lazy susan lock I have found. I have a toddler that gets into EVERYTHING and really needed to keep her out of that cabinet. Its hard to tell from the pictures, but you don't drill any holes into the outside of the cabinet; its all on the inside and only two or three screws. I'm in and out of that cabinet several times a day and I think I've had to replace it about every three months because it is all plastic and eventually breaks. Its not the best design or quality but it does what it is supposed to do and its so cheap I don't mind spending a few bucks to replace it.
