Comments about Essentials Childproofing Kit (46 pc):

I thought this would be great for my little ones and, to some degree it has been alright. Overall, it's just not worth the money/energy.

The outlet covers are easily removed, and my son will pull them out and chew on them... defeats the purpose.

The doorknob covers DO work. They keep my kids from opening doors that we want kept closed. However, they can be a little tricky to install, and while it does seem to be kid proof, it is also husband/daddy resistant... He just can't seem to open the door when they're in place, bless his heart!

The safety latches are an absolute PAIN to install. It's difficult to get the latch and the hook to line up, and once you get it lined up you still have to install them at the proper level or it will catch and not unlatch OR it won't catch at all.

All in all, I would recommend finding other kid proofing products. These just don't cut it.

Comments about Essentials Childproofing Kit (46 pc):

I recieved this kit for Christmas and couldn't believe the price my mother and law paid for it! I was planning on spending $200.00+ to baby proof our house. I ended up having to spend that money anywas...
The only thing that is worth your while in this kit are the door knob covers. They are easy to put on, they stay on and work!

As for the outlet covers: Sure you pop these right in but that means you can pop them right out... Right? RIGHT! My 10 month old pops these bad boys right out! They fit right into his mouth while he plays with the electric socket! I would not waste your money on these! I recommend the full covers that slide.

And the drawer/cabinet locks: My husband tried installing these with the adhesive. Dont even bother! They dont stick. So he then tried the screws. They were popping off the same day! Unless you and your child opens things like a gentle fairy I do not recommend this product.
