Gate was warped when we got it, and on top of that, it wouldnt really lock correctly. Finding the right length to lock each time is also a hassle. And having to do all that with a baby on one arm is almost impossible. It feels sturdy.. that's about the only plus I can give it. It's too bad because I really wanted to like it!

We purchased this gate to keep my 1 year old from escaping in the hallway. But, I found the lock on the gate to be extremely hard to lock/unlock. My wife found it impossible to work. According to description it has an easy 1 hard lock/unlock, which I found as definitely not true. Maybe the unit I received was defective, as others reviews were positive. I returned the gate to Diapers.com, which was actually painless and am receiving a full refund.

It is great to block off areas of the house that you don't have child proofed or that you just don't want them getting in to. After the first adjustment it snaps back into place with ease. I've seen crazy people use pressure gates at the top of the stairs.. Please only use a mountable gate for the top of the stairs!

I planned to use this gate to block off the stairs as well as the archway that connects the foyer to the family room-kitchen open floor space.

It works great for the archway, even though I had to install it about the floor crowning, but I have to buy a staircase adapter before installing it for the stairs.

This gate does not require instalation, so it's portible. downside is that my 16 month old was able to pull it off. will be returing it.

I use it to block the entrance to kitchen for my 1 year old.
For the price, its a good product, but very hard to open it. We have to go over it, everytime, I thought that it easely slides, but actually, you need to remove and put it back, everytime. Maybe that's how all the gates are, I was just not expecting it that way.

Good if you want to use this gate to stay up and not move around. The handle is hard to use and especially with a child in hand. If you are never going to move then it is very sturdy!

This gate is very easy to install and my door frame is not an ordinary one. So, when I install this gate, my 10 month old tries to pull himself up on it and the entire gate falls over. I'm not sure if it is just my door frame, but it's not one that I would buy again.

This is a sturdy gate, but I'd recommend it for the occasional space that you want to block off since the adjustment feature is kind of cumbersome. I use it for the bottom of our staircase when we want to keep the kids and the dog downstairs.

My toddler has been known to fiddle with this gate all day long without it moving an inch! The gate itself is lightweight but constructed well and the locking mechanism works beautifully. I have several others gates throughout my home and purchased this one after little hands starting causing destruction in the dining room. I purchased other gates for $50-$80 but opted for a more cost-efficient version this time around, and I just wish that I discovered this gate sooner!
