This is so poorly designed it's useless. My 18 month old immediately figured out how to pull the entire knob. I'm returning them - don't waste your money.

These covers work great on my stove. They get greasy, but clean right up in the dishwasher. They prevent my daughter from lighting the stove, but also from getting burned when the oven is on and the knobs get very hot. Unfortunately, they got so hot today that the plastic loop holding the hinge actually melted and the lock fell apart, so I'm buying more now. They've worked very well for 10 months now, but I would recommend constructing them from a material that doesn't melt if the purpose is to guard from the heat.

Works as advertised. Our child can not turn the gas on when the safety cover is closed. Easy to install, easy to use, easy to open safety cover with one hand. Five safety covers in package.

was excited to get these, but so disappointed when I installed them and they hung from the dials. Also the large cover is awkward when open.

This works wonderful for the one year old, but doesn't stop the five year old! She figured them out in no time flat! Regardless, I would still recommend these & I have.

We needed these to have a little extra childproofing in the kitchen. Works well for the most part, but with extended use they will break on you. The hinges are plastic so we have broken 2 of them already. Out of all the designs for child proofing the stove I like this the best.

It works great for what we need. They are super easy to install and they prevent the kids from being able to turn the gas knobs on the stove. However, they do spin, so the kids might want to play with the covers themselves..

These knob covers do a great job of keeping our 1 1/2 year old from turning on our gas stove. They sort of attract him since they are big and plastic, so he does want to play with them, but he hasn't been able to open them. They are simple for adults to open, though, so there's no issue when we go to cook.

When you go to install them, keep in mind that you have to remove the knobs from your stove to put these covers on. I wasn't using my brain when I went to install them and thought they wouldn't fit around our knobs. Luckily, my husband didn't take my word for it and got them on easily.

These work very well for keeping my little active boy off the stove knobs. They were easy to install.

These knobs do the job well, are easy to put on and are kid-resistant. Only quibble is I wish the plastic held up to heat better. I have to replace them(at least 1x a year) when the heat begins melting them. They get misshapened and don't close properly. I haven't found any better ones yet.

I thought these would be the perfect solution to our gas stove knobs....They are HUGE on our stove and do not fit. The company needs to come up with a type of plastic piece or something universal that owners could install to make it a more secure fit on all types of stove knobs. After having them on for an hour, it brought even more attention to the knobs and my little one thought they were a toy.

Like most others have said, these work well, but do not last forever. Ours lasted about one year before we had to replace them.

This will be a third order of these. I wish I could find something else on the market, but this product is the only one to cover the stove knobs that exists! It lasts about 3 months, then breaks. Well, here I go ordering another set.
