        Comments about ProSport - Blaze:

We have been using this seat for three months. It is the third seat my son 36 months has used.(Chicco KeyFit30 (BIG FAIL for us), Britax Boulevard(Blvd) we called it our 'lazy boy') I think it is important that people write reviews after using something for a couple months in order to be sure you have worked out IF there are any kinks with the product. As I mentioned we have been using this for about three months and are still very happy.

From Mom and Dad's perspective we think the following.
        Pros:
My son is in a seat that is getting wonderful safety reviews. This is always our first concern.
We have never needed to convince or force our son into this car seat. We did have that issue with our Britax Blvd occasionally.
The seat is much thinner in the back seat of my small car; however, it does not loose any space in the seat section where my son sits. (We live in Bermuda where our cars are small and get very hot. This is a deal breaker for us since we have two children.)
As mentioned above. the seat has a perfect amount of space for my son to relax and watch the scenery. He is very comfortable and has no problems seeing whatever he wants to see.
The seat has a fabulous fabric that does not constantly look dirty like my Blvd. (The Blvd always looks dirty) It also does not make my son get hot. AND it also has somewhat of a water repellent. (We were finalizing potty training when we bought this seat. I LOVE the fabric.
It feels very solid when you touch it. You can feel that it is made of race car materials. There is steel inside and it really is a tough seat.
One of my favorite aspects of this seat is that there is still a SLIGHT recline in the seat. Therefore when my son falls asleep his head does not fall forward. He sleeps better and we get a longer nap.

        Cons:
-The seat is thin, but it does weight a lot. I personally don't mind this, but if you have a health issue, you should know it is heavy. It is small so the weight makes is secure!
-The LATCH system is on one belt. When I used it in a family member's Toyota Venza, it barely made it to both latches. This has not been a problem in any of our rental cars when we come to the US, but it could be a problem in some cars. I think Recaro should add a couple inches to the belt to ensure if fits in call cars easily. It is very easy to tighten the belt, but if it does not fit your car, it is useless. Since this is not a big problem to us I am still giving the ProSport 5 stars. I just wanted to mention it so you will check in all the cars you will use before you throw away the box. I am also hoping that someone from Recaro will read this and legthen the belt!

Pros from a 3 year old:
He is comfortable and has NEVER complained about this seat. My son actually likes to get into it himself. Really after safety- is there anything else I need than a happy child????

Overall- a safe seat, a comfortable seat and a compact seat. If this is what you are looking check out the Recaro ProSPORT.

Bought one for my 3 1/2yr old and loved it so much I ordered this one for my 22mo old. They are well supported and are up high enough to see out the window. Would definitely recommend.

            Comments about ProSport - Aspen:

I have yet to install this product in my car. Everything about this seat is beyond my expectations. The restraint system adjusts nicely. As soon as I got it, I sat my son in it (1-year-old as of 12/18/12) and made sure he fits comfortably and snug. My only concern was the adjusting of the head restraint. I felt that it needed to come down a bit, only to discover that it was down as far as it goes. The 3-Point Shoulder Belt Guides worried me because it didn't seam like his head was high enough to bypass them if he were to get jostled around. However, I nudged his head to either side, and am confident that he is just barely tall enough (at 27") that his head will be cushioned.
This seat is less bulky, and not as heavy as the toddler seat we were previously using. One aspect that I was very excited about is that all loose parts are tucked away neatly (top tether, side latch straps, restraint slack). I drive an older model Jeep Grand Cherokee and it doesn't have the Tether and Latch Anchors) Our previous seat has a tether and latches that just dangle freely.
A surprizing bonus feature of this seat is the W.H.A.L.E Child Safety stickers and Information card.
I could go on-and-on honestly. Very happy with this decision, it is Well worth the money.
