I love this seat! It rides lower than convertible car seats, which is safer for my daughter. It's very comfortable for her as well, she settles right into it whereas our other convertible seat she doesn't like to climb into very much. If you're familiar with Recaro, they make racing seats, which was a big plus for my husband as he's owned several Recaro seats and is a fan of their craftsmanship. I was hesitant about it at first because it doesn't have a rear-facing option, but my daughter is 18 months now so I'm not as concerned. I love that she can use this until 90 lbs too...definitely recommend to parents if rear-facing is not a must for them!

I wanted to like this car seat so bad. I almost cried when I had to box it back up to return it. The quality is awesome and the size accommodates growing children unlike some other seats that have a high weight limit but the buckle and harness straps would not fit an older child. So, my only complaint is with the installation of this seat. I have an older car that does not have the LATCH system so I have to install with the lap/shoulder belt. The path in which the lap part of the belt goes through sticks out and would dig into the child's lower back and the part that the shoulder belt goes through interferes with the shoulder straps causing them to be pushed on and twist. What a major design flaw. I was also not able to get a tight installation either. The car seat she has now is an Evenflo Tribute which was only going to be temporary until I found one with a higher weight limit (it only goes up to 40lbs) but I just can't seem to find any other car seat that will install as tight as the Evenflo. There is no movement what so ever and it takes about 10 seconds to install. I have also tried the Britax Frontier (loose installation) and the Graco Nautilus (great installation but crotch straps not long enough and no shoulder room for a growing child). So, the only one I have not tried yet is the First Years True Fit but I am skeptical. Hopefully I can wait until next year and they might have fixed this issue on a newer model.

Amazing solid construction. The quality of this seat is fabulous. Using it for 7 and 9 year old kids. They love it and say it is comfortable. We are using it with the 5 pt. harness and it fits them very well. After having them in the regular booster seat for years, we just bought these after seeing crash test videos. To excite our kids about going back to a harness system, we showed them the Recaro race car videos showing the drivers in their seats with a harness. We call them, race car seats and they LOVE it. If race car drivers use a harness, then they are not just for "babies". I am thrilled with this seat although I was a little worried that they would be too big for the car when I got them out of the box. But, they fit fine and look great. Definitely worth the expense for the quality of product. Also, there was no out-gassing smell of product at all.
