It comes in one piece. It is great for my 17 months old son scoop around in an apartment. It is small enough for an apartment, didn't take up too much space, and it glides easy on hard wood floor without damaging my floor. It is so much fun to watch my son on it and follow us around the apartment.

My son started riding this shortly after he learned to walk and is almost 2 1/2 and still loves this toy. It is great for carpet or the sidewalk and is so easy to steer because the wheels swivel 360 degrees. I love how it provides a great leg workout and strengthens their balancing skills. All around great toy.

This is for our 15 month old. He is walking well and taller. He likes to both push it and ride it. The rounded shape makes it easy for him to get on. Wheels work well on carpet & hard surfaces. I like that it's not gender specific (ie car or fireman, or pink) or name brand (like Kawasaki). I think for such a simple but good design it's a tad pricey, but still a good value.
