Bought this for my 21 month old since he loves ride ons and I wanted something he could ride in the house. It is very cute and there's virtually no assembly which is great. I knew he was on the young end for this but he is very coordinated so I thought it would work but he is way too short to ride it normally and I would say he is of average height for his age. I think this product is for 2.5 yr olds+. But he still likes it and will grow into it. He stands or sits on it and I scoot him around the house.

This is really the only scooter meant for 2 year olds, which means it's sturdier, and the deck is bigger. The turning radius is also small, giving it a safer profile. My 21-month old actually scoots. It's a great learning tool.

It is adorable to watch my 2 year old son ride on this scooter in our house. I know he really enjoys it. I am hoping it will get us through the winter and we will take it outside in the spring. The reasons why I gave it only 3 stars is that I thought it was going to be made of wood and metal like the other Radio Flyer products that I love. It is made of plastic in China. I loved that I did not have to put it together but I was willing to and expecting to assemble it myself. Also, I know it is probably a safety thing but the turning radius is really small so he has to stop and readjust the position of the scooter to turn corners. I would recommend the other scooter by Radio Flyer even though it is 50% more expensive.

This scooter is the perfect 1st scooter. The front of the scooter has 2 wheels to help with balance, and the footboard is much wider than that of a razor. My daughter loves it and learning great coordination learning to ride it.
