    Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

At first I loved the bath and so did my baby girl. Until I went to adjust her posture and came to find out her leg was stuck. Everytime I tried to lift her out, the seat lifted too, even though it was attached at the side. My daughter starting screaming and trying to get out. My husband and I ended up having to lift the whole unit, including our child out of the tub to get her legs free. I think this is okay for a smaller baby or one with thin thighs.

      Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

I have the opposite problem of other parents, my six month old seems to be too small for this thing, she slides all over the place, maybe it'll work better when she gets bigger. Also the arm doesn't fit great on my tub and to my knowledge I don't have an odd sized tub...

        Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

This was my favorite bath seat with my son! We all know the mark of the bathtub that it leaves on your arm--and it HURTS--when we clean our babies in the tub. This is so comfortable and I think the safest out there--it was recommended to me from the top Baby class in LA, as well.

Only bad things are, you have to have a standard tub. We moved and only have a jacuzzi-type tub and the arm rest doesn't fit over the ledge. And you will eventually have to buy a replacement for the seat. Your baby will out grow it and want to move around out of the seat. Unless you just move them from the seat to just in the tub, but after this seat, I did have to buy another one.

        Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

I read all the reviews and was very excited for this product, but when I tried it with my 6 month old son I quickly realized that his arm was getting stuck between the ring and the arm that hooks over the bath tub. Luckily his arm is small enough that I could pull it out without hurting him but his arm was all red. In a few weeks when he gets bigger I know his arm would become wedged in there. I'm returning this product immediately and just getting the plain bath ring. I didn't use the arm rest anyway b/c I need to be at a different angle to wash him well.

        Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

We loved our tub! Yes, as users have posted water does get trapped in the seat- so a few sways back and forth and tipped over to dry- and we've never had a mold or slime problem. My son started in it at about 5 months (Probably to early as I still held him since he slid around within it-although I never felt he was unsafe- and we used until about 9 months when he was sitting completely independently in the big boy tub. It lets you fill the tub with more water and still feel safe while letting your baby splash and play in the deep water. I never found a problem with getting him out- although would agree chubbier legs may not come out so easily! Cleaning his bottom is difficult, but thats the last area we wash anyways, so when he was done with playing, I just took him out and washed his bum before getting out! Truly a great way to let your baby interact with bath time!!

        Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

I didn't use this very often for my first child. He didn't like baths very much to begin with, and he never seemed very comfortable in this chair. However, now I use it everyday with my daughter and she loves it. This seat allows me to safely give the children a bath together. She is 9 months but is the size of most 12 month olds (30+ inches, 20+ lbs) and it looks like we will be able to continue using this for a while.

          Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

I really like the tubside seat. I was able to start using it with my son when he was 6 months old. However, I have a larger-size infant with chubby legs and I was only able to use it for approx. one month before he got too big to fit in it. My son is now 8 1/2 months old and he can sit up on his own in the tub without the tubseat assistance. This tubside seat is probably fine for most infants 6-12 months of age, but it is not the best for a bigger infant (he was approx. 24 lbs. and 28" tall at 6 months).

We use this seat in the baby pool ... it keeps our 8 month old sitting up and safe (of course we dont walk away). We also use this seat in the bathtub. It makes bathtime safe but it is difficult to maneuver around the seat to wash his little body.

            Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

This is a great product. Like I said in my title, nothing you buy out there is 100% perfect but this is pretty close. I don't have to worry about buying a non slip mat, then something to go around the tub so my son dosen't hit his head and then a cover for the faucet as well. He is a big boy and it was hard to hold him with one hand and try to wash him with another. In regards to not being able to wash their bottom. You can, just lift them up a little and you can wash everything! I feel a lot more secure knowing he's not going to accidentally flip over and hurt himself.

This product scraped my son's arm really bad. The edges underneath are not smooth so when you try to pull him out, it cut his arm all up. It does not fit all bathtubs and floats when a small amount of water hits it. Their legs also get stuck in it.

                  Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

These seats are great! I am able to bath my twins by myself. We started using these seats at 4 months old and still used them today (11 months). They usually stay seated and play in them. Someone mentioned that the baby can't face you in a post....there is actually a way to turn the seat in any direction and then lock it the way you want it to face. For twins, they like to face each other, so they are great. We tried taking them out recently and it was a disaster, the boys were crawling all over the tub, trying to drink the bathwater...etc. They make bathtime less chaotic! Great product.

                    Comments about Tubside Bath Seat:

I have two of these for my now 1 year old twins, and our entire family LOVES the seats. I bought them when the babies were 6 months, and we've been using them ever since, and will probably keep using them for at least another 4-6 months (my babies are not chubby). Both of my hands are free to play with the kids. I empty the bathtub and turn the seats upside down as soon as we are done, hence they dry quickly and I don't have a mold problem. Both seats are pretty sturdy, and it's easy to put the baby in or take him out. It is true that it's difficult to wash the bum, but it's a seat and not a tub! And I don't worry about washing it by hand - the bum is in the water for at least 10 minutes, so it's pretty clean once we are done. And I use wipes many times a day, so I'm not too concerned about the cleanness of the lower part of the body. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to bathe and play!
