Comments about Two-Stage SeatSaver - Grey:

We bought two SeatSavers two years ago to use in our VW that has gray leather interior. They have been amazing. The SeatSavers are cut wide enough so that they catch snacks, spills, sand and wayward Trader Joe's stickers. They easily wipe clean (or in the case of my kids, two minutes with a scrub brush and voila!) They have grown right along with us from rear facing to forward facing to booster with back to no back booster.

I have not tried them in the three across the back scenario. I imagine that if you have a tight squeeze the width of them may pose a problem. They do mould and flex some so you may be able to overlap the center one on top of the side two. Curious thoughts...

We're selling the car now and so I pulled out the seats & SeatSavers to have the car detailed on the inside. The seats were as clean as the day we got the car. Not only that but the SeatSavers absorbed the dents from the car seat and booster seat so the actual leather upholstery did not have a scratch, mark, or dent. Well worth it!

I've had these in my 2013 Toyota Sienna for about 2 weeks now. My 3 year olds dirty/salty/snowy boots no longer brush against the seats, which I'm very happy about. I'm also very happy about the leather seat not having huge indents from the car seats.

Comments about Two-Stage SeatSaver - Black:

I bought this seat protector when I had my first child, he's now 6 and it is still going strong! It, in my eyes, is the only seat protector designed to not let liquids go into the back crack of the seat. Which was super helpful when he would drop those 'spill proof' sippys or when he was potty training and had an accident. It has saved my leather and vehicles from pee many a time!! I'm now off to buy 2 more, one for my 16 month old and one for my one on the way; which will mean I own 4 of these- NOTHING else will do!! It not only saves the seats by catching liquids but helps the carseat not dent into the seats.. which I really dislike. The only CON I have to say is if I have to put a 3rd carseat or booster in my 3rd row they have to come out- but they all fit in my middle row. (Excursion/F250- leather interior- and they work fine)

Comments about Two-Stage SeatSaver - Black:

These seat protectors are excellent for preventing the carseats from dimpling, stretching, and marking your leather seats. We bought 2 of these in tan for our Navigator over 2 years ago when our twins were born and when I removed the carseats recently for a detail, the leather underneath looked like new. We like them so much we just purchased 2 more in black to protect the leather in our new Nissan Pathfinder! I would not still be using these products if I felt in any way that they compromised the safety of my children just to protect some leather in a car!!! Maybe some of the other reviewers had their carseats installed improperly, because ours are always snug and secure and do not move! You must climb into the carseat and put your weight into it pushing down with your knee to get them tight, but this must be done with or without the protectors.

Was hesitant to purchase after reading reviews about seat movement but took a chance on them. Purchased 2 of these for the S550 and works as advertised. Maybe they improved the material/product but the child seats for my newborn & 3 year old does not slip & the black looks ok on the black leather.

Comments about Two-Stage SeatSaver - Tan:

We bought this item because we were concerned about how the carseat was digging into our leather seats. However, when we took it to be professionally installed, we were told that these protectors are very bad because the carseats aren't designed to be used with them (we were also shown how they make the seats slip). It's not worth your child's life to save your seats some wear and tear. Total waste of money, since we never got around to sending it back. Protect your children, skip this one.

Bought a new Honda Pilot and wanted something to prevent seat denting from our Britax Marathon and Graco infant car seats. These are a sturdy, yet flexible plastic with non-stick grip on the bottom that fit in the 2nd and 3rd row of our car easily. If your carseat is installed correctly, they don't slide around as another reviewer noted. They're nice and wide so can catch food crumbs and the hard plastic wipes clean. So far, so good!

I have had this protector for over 2 years. I have leather seats and there is no problem with sliding. No car seat should slide on any surface if instaled properly. The things I have found stuck to this would have ruined the leather if there were no protector. I never have had any lines left on the leather from the carseat since putting this in. I love this product, it is well worth the price.

I currently have this car seat protector. It does it's job and catches little crumbs. It also has a harder base to protect leather seats. This is a catch 22. It saves those stretched out areas in the leather, but makes it harder to install the carseat. The protector itself is easy to install, however if you do not install the carseat well then the carseat will be loose. In order to get a good fit of the carseat, you have to push down hard on the carseat while you are tightening the seatbelts, or LATCH belts. You really should push down on the carseat anyways to get the tightest fit of the belts, however using this carseat protector you have to push down harder. Once you have the carseat installed and tight, the protector does great, and does protect the seats. I am buying another one for our new car.
