hmmm...it seemed perfect but the pommel's plastic connection broke the first week. We can still use it but my 7 month old is almost too big for it. The plastic seat is soft so that is a plus, and the toy is engaging too. My son spits up constantly so I use it after he eats for a little while until he digests.

I bought this to have my baby sit-up and give the back of her head a break. It's good for that purpose, although baby is 5 months and would rather roll around on the floor, since she just realized this new found ability. She will sit in it for only 10 minutes (every baby is different) so I just rated it by how it broke and not that she doesn't care for it. The tray comes off pretty easily; however the white knob doesn't come off that well. It shows in the directions to twist it off and did just that- it broke.

Our twins both adore this seat, and they look adorable in it to boot! It is a very cute chair made of soft squishy plastic that is very comfy for babies. It is very secure -- doesn't seem likely to tip and has a buckle to keep the baby in, although it still leaves plenty of room in the leg area to grow. Our 16 week-old twins love it and I can tell it will help them learn to sit upright.

I returned the Summer Infant Seat to get this one. Loved it. Loved the feeling of the seat. Loved the simple pommel, which kept her in place perfectly. Loved the simple tray and the toy. Everything was very well made. My 7th month old is strong enough to get the toy out by herself but that's not a problem for me. She loves playing with the orange holes more than the toy itself, which is also fine with me.
