I have tried all kinds of bottles with all kinds of nipples. These are the best. They are the slowest bottle nipple that I have found. Even slower than the Dr. Brown's premie nipple. In response to the reviewer above me that says that playtex needs to make a bottle nipple in size medium...they do. They also make a y-cut nipple. We used playtex with our first two daughters. With this our third daughter we were going to branch out and so we tried tommie tippie...HORRIBLE. So...back to good old playtex. Also, while this nipple is slow it still also works well for our now 8 month old daughter. With our ther two daughters we never switched flows either.

These nipples could work for somebody else, but my baby had been using avent bottles with nipple flow 2. These nipples were too slow and he wasn't drinking as much when using these and he would get frusturated. I tried the ventaire fast flow and those were too fast. I think playtex needs to make a nipple flow that falls in the middle of slow and fast, maybe a medium flow.
