This was the ONLY nipple that we could get our 4 month old to take... We didn't introduce the bottle right away, because we wanted to establish nursing well, but then we ended up with a baby that absolutely refused to take a bottle... Until we tried the latex nipple! She didn't even hesitate.
So I would have given five stars, but there are a couple of issues with these nipples. First, they break down over time, so you have to replace them after a couple months. And even the "fast" ones don't have very fast flow, so we have had to put more holes in each nipple, so our LO doesn't get frustrated. But overall, thank god for these!

My daughter did ok with the silicone nipples but, she stopped any fussing and took the bottle easier when I switched to latex. I introduced the bottle around 5 weeks but only switched to latex at about 3 months; should've tried it earlier.

My breastfed baby was refusing all bottles when I went back to work (she was 14 weeks old, she started refusing the bottle at 10 weeks). We tried EVERY bottle and we did not have any success until we tried the Platex drop ins with latex nipples. I wish we had tried these sooner, I spent a fortune on all of the other bottles! She also had no problems going back and forth from the breast to the bottle, she is almost 8 months now.

My first son transitioned from breast to bottle with ease. We used Born Free bottles/nipples with him. My second son was not so easy so we tried multiple brands. So far this is the winner!

This is the ONLY nipple my breastfed baby will take. I have tried Breastflow, NUK (both silicone and latex), regular Similac, Gerber, and Evenflo nipples, Avent, and even Playtex silicone nipples. I almost thought I would have to send my milk to daycare in a sippy cup for a 2-month-old when I had to go back to work! But he will drink from these and only these! I ordered extras, so I could use the premium nursers I bought. (They came with silicone, and he HATES anything silicone!)

If your breastfed baby is refusing all bottles, try these. They are as close to the real thing as I've found, and my as-picky-as-they-come baby takes them at daycare.
