With my son I thought I loved these cups. But soon learned that the drink quickly came back up the straw and even leaked around the lid. I thought it was just that the cups had been used a lot so I bought another one when my daughter was born. Brand NEW and still have the exact problems. Would NOT Recommend these cups.

I love these cups! I appreciate the sliding tab so the straw stays clean. I haven't had a leaking issue with these. It's true that they are a little pokey to clean - you have to pull out the straw, etc., but that is the case with the other "leak-proof" cups I've found.

The only downside I've found is that sometimes, the straw comes loose from the rubber "gasket" inside the cup. I figured that washing them in the dishwasher might have warped the rubber somehow. I actually use the same (not warped) top for multiple cups.

Overall, a solid 4/5. And better than all the other straw cups I've tried (basically, all of them!).

We have a straw cup from a store nearby that is wearing out, so we bought this online to see if it would be better. Our old one leaks a tiny bit, but nothing like this one. The juice comes out if the bottle is shaken too much and the blue tab opens too easily when it's packed in a bag. Our old one doesn't really do that. Still our daughter loves the pictures on it, it's insulated, and it is suitable to use at home, since we taught her to put it on the table, close it and/or to give it to us when she's done.

I really like the Playtex brand sippy cups with a straw as I have found them the easiest straws for my daughters to learn on. Was really attracted to this cup which is a new product, however, have found that some of them leak and the inner pieces are very hard to clean. By hand and in the dish washer it is hard to clean out the black buildup that eventually accumulates.

My daugher has never used a straw cup and loved this since I first gave it to her. No leaks. Someone commented negatively on the patterns, but the one we got is adorable and not tacky...dark maroony pink with cute houses and heart clouds...looks like something from starbucks. Also, the straw is thinner than most cups I've seen.

I've tried other sippy cups, but this doesn't leak in the diaper bag and is the easiest for my daughter to sip out of.
