Comments about First Lil' Gripper Strap 7oz Trainer Cup - Girl:

This is the perfect sized cup for an infant, BUT it leaks big time. I learned the hard way after finding puddles of milk all around the house after leaving it for a short while. I will only use this cup for water for now on....

Comments about First Lil' Gripper Strap 7oz Trainer Cup - Girl:

This is the only cup our 11 month old will drink from independently. She's petite and doesn't tip the other types of sippy cups up well.
Only down fall is that if you don't slide the cover to close the straw the pressure will force the liquid out the top because it is not vented. However, we just use it for water and it has helped us tremendously with transitioning from bottle to the cup.

Comments about First Lil' Gripper Strap 7oz Trainer Cup - Girl:

We've only had the cup for a week and a half, but so far I'm very happy with it. I wanted a straw cup to help my 10 month old's oral motor skills. She has low tone and needs help to get her tongue in her mouth. Not to mention she hasn't been able to figure out the traditional sippy cups yet. She was drinking from this cup the same day and she loves it. I love that you can squeeze it to help. So far it hasn't leaked either!

Comments about First Lil' Gripper Strap 7oz Trainer Cup:

My nine month old baby was getting nothing out of the sippy cups and it was becoming more a teether than a cup. I needed something she could actually get a drink out of when she was thirsty. The other problem is that I wanted her to start taking formula, but she refuses the bottle. Therefore, I needed her to drink more out of a cup, but I did NOT want to spend over five bucks for a cup. Well, especially because things seem to break and go missing constantly. She took less than a day to master the straw cup with a little help from us. It was impressive how quick she was able to learn how to use it!!!

Obviously, there is some leakage but all straw sippy cups do!!!! I just watch her and the cup doesn't seem to leak much, if any. I actually think this is perfect, I am going to get another one today. Let's face it, within a few months she will be using a proper straw cup instead of a training cup.

These cups are good for water. They close nicely so they're good for keeping in a diaper bag. But don't even bother using them for milk or juice. I've tried giving my daughter her milk in these and they just leak everywhere! I leave it on the counter for a few minutes and come back to a huge puddle.

We skipped sippy cups and started with this cup when our baby was about 7 months old. He's now 9 months and has no problems using this cup on his own. He can also drink from any straw. He doesn't use any other type of cup. It was nice in the begining to be able to squeeze the cup to teach that water comes out the straw. It will occasionally shoot water out when you flip the top open, but this is just another form of entertainment for our baby.

Do I have to give it 1 star? This cup is by far the worst baby product I've ever bought. Every time I open the cup, milk quirts all over me, in my childs face, all over my clothes, the table and onto the floor.
They also leak... badly! I can set this cup down on a table, come back 5 mins later and my cup is sitting in a puddle of milk that has come up from the staw.
                        Don't waste your money please.

This cup taught our 5-month-old to drink from a straw after just a few tries. If you firmly squeeze the cup (warning: it is hard to squeeze) it will start the liquid up the straw for your little one. Our baby caught on so quickly. It was such a relief because she won't take a bottle.
