2nd daughter did not like the bottle brand first daughter liked, and generally resisted the bottle. Finally got her taking a bottle using the Playtex latex nipples. Started using the Ventaire bottles, but got frustrated with the countless parts to have to wash every single night after daycare. The drop-ins and Ventaire bottles will both take the latex nippes so I use the drop-ins now. The liners are fine, but my only complaint is that the ounce markers are not extremely accurate especially at larger ounce amounts. 4 ounces seems to be spot on. But, for example, if I measure 6 ounces out of another container and pour into the lined bottle it shows in the lined bottle as closer to 6.5 ounces. I don't think it's a deal breaker, though. These are still much easier for me to use than the Ventaire bottles.

I love using the Playtex drop-in liners! They are easy to use and save a lot of time. The Playtex bottles and drop-in liners were a great find for me as I felt very uncomfortable nursing in public but didn't want to be in the house 24/7.
When I breastfed exclusively during the first 6 months, I'd pump and bottle feed my daughter when we were out and about, like church or traveling, as well as when we had company. Now my daughter gets two to three bottles of formula and is breastfed am and pm. My baby had no problems using Playtex bottles since the first time and was never confused between bottlefeeding and breastfeeding.

Like always, satisified w. Playtex Product. I'm first time mom, and my lil girl has no problem using playtex bottle, nipple, liner, and cups. For first time mom, it will be easier if u get playtex bottle that u can use w. Liners . Prevent colic, also less work with boiling your baby's bottle.

Great product. No leakage issues thus far. Really helps the baby not ingest too much air. Less spitting up is a good thing.

Yeah, easy to wash. That's where the easy ends! #1 Have to pre-mix and heat formula in measuring cup (wash that) #2 Have to PUSH HARD to get air out. I use a wooden spoon...nice. #3 Push until milk is at end of nipple (squirts on your arm, counter...) #4 Can not tell how much baby has drunk. I kinda like to know, especially when they are so young. I am going to try to persuade my dd to go back to the Avent. She switched because baby spit up. Well, she is still spitting up! Easy to wash? Oh brother!

I'm annoyed enough about this that I'm actually writing a comment! I have been a user since 2008 and have never had a problem. We had to open a new box several days ago and have already found two leaky liners. Normally not a problem but a mess from a leaky liner was the last thing I wanted to deal with when I have a tired, hungry and cranky baby in my arms. Did someone send me a bad batch as a joke, being that Halloween is coming up? Otherwise, we have loved this product. It was a huge help with our first cranky, collicky baby. The rating is for the overall product itself, not the batch that was sent to me.

After spending hours on end cleaning pump parts and bottle parts (we still love you, Dr. Brown's!) I was about to lose my mind. A friend recommended these for travel (we moved & drove across country when our baby was 4 mos!) and we started using the playtex drop-in system then. It is SO easy. Nothing to clean. just the nipple - we had extras so we could pop them into the rings and re-use the bottle. The green part of my conscious is a little sad...but one thing I learned when I became a mom is that time is precious and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to stay sane! We do recycle the liners, so that helps a bit and we try to do our part elsewhere...

No more messing with assembling, washing, and disassembling bottle parts....these are simply the BOMB!

The only thing that isnt good about these bottles is the oz don't match up. I have to measure in another bottle then put it in this bottle to feed. For me that isnt a big deal because I use powder formula and just make bottles when i need them so there is no mess in the extra bottle I have to use its ust the water I am measuring. I could see this being a problem for someone who breastfeeds of uses liquid formula because then the extra bottle that you are using has to be washed. These bottles are so easy to clean and do not leak. DO NOT buy store brand liners they stink and dont always fit right in the bottle. I bought some from wal mart and they leaked a lot!!

These liners make both preparing a bottle and clean-up breeze easy. With these sterile liners, you never have to worry about how clean the bottle really is. Once it was clear my baby liked the Playtex bottles, I was glad and didn't even think about switching.

I love these because after baby is done drinking you just throw away the liner and there's no formula left in the bottle to sit and rot until you can clean it. I feel like these are safer and more sanitary and I like that it's always like baby is drinking from a BRAND NEW bottle every time. I do believe it helps with gas too though I can't say for certain because when I tried other (well known expensive) bottles for gas my baby always choked even on slow flow. He doesn't choke on these even on fast flow now. I'm pleased. Don't buy the store brand liners (like your local pharmacy..) they are horrible! For a dollar or 2 less you will get a liner that reeks of plastic smell, feels weird, and if you put 7 ounces in it will be filled to the brim with no room for formula or to shake it. I should have known better... stick with Playtex name brand..at least for bottles don't compromise, these are great.

I agree with some previous reviewers who say this "upgrade" should work with older models. For parents of multiple children who have the old bottles, we shouldn't have to go out and buy all new products.

I agree with the reviewer below, this product works very well, with old and new bottles. I have bottles from my first son and now my second and I was happy to see that they made them to expand that extra little bit. Also, if you have the old bottles, and you don't want to get the new ones with the "new" 10oz lines, just measure the water in a measuring cup, fill the bottle with it, and use a sharpie to put a line on the bottle with how many ounces it is. Pretty simple, and you don't have to buy new bottles!

Clearly, if you read the other negative reviews, people have no clue how to use these liners. I use the new nurser bottles with both the playtex liners and the target brand liners and they both line up just fine. Besides, you want to measure the water to the line on the bottle itself not the liner, thats how I've been doing it and my son has not had problems.

Secondly, those using the old nurser bottles, clearly playtex upgraded so should you! I'm tired of seeing negative reviews for a great product because people are too lazy to upgrade! get with the times!
Did you know that you can get a free sample bottle with 5 liners from playtex if you only take the time to register... problem solved!
