I don't like this product at all. You have to put your hand in it and push very hard to get the diaper in and it creeps my husband and I both out feeling like we're going to get poop on us! I don't recommend it.

I don't like that you have to push your hand almost through the diaper to get it through the "smell guard" which doesn't contain the smell. It doesn't let you know when it is full it just is harder to push so now you have a smashed diaper and you are fumbling with a contraption to figure out how to get one more diaper in with a crying baby in your other hand. I wasn't a time saver or helpful in fact I found it a waste of time. My garbage can worked just fine and contained the smell just as easily. The thing that really got to me was that it holds so many diapers that not only did it smell awful flies had started appearing inside the bag so every time I opened the top flies would come out. NOT OKAY!

This edition in no way compares with the older model that allowed you to twist the top to make a sack for the disposed diaper and when each diaper was in its own closed NO SMELL SACK, you could twist the top, push the cutter button and then twist the cutter and never touch the sack until you opened the bottom with a foot lever and removed the filled sack and tied a knot in the top and disposed of the entire article. There was NEVER ANY SMELL. With this new essential model, there is terrible odor every time the top is opened to place a diaper in it.
