Although I like the concept of an eco-friendly tambourine, the sound quality is really poor. It does not sound at all like a traditional tambourine. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to love this toy as Plan produces quality products. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this one...

I thought having the metal parts of the tambourine inside the wooden portion so the baby couldn't break them off and swallow them would be a good thing, but it dampens the sound so much that it defeats the purpose of the toy.
