Comments about Pepe Carrier - Charcoal/Red:

I'm very happy I ordered this carrier! I've been carrying my baby in it for five months--since he was a newborn. My baby has tripled in weight and is much longer now, but it always fit my baby's body just right, whether facing in or out. He seems very comfortable and often dozes off in it. It's very comfortable for my shoulders and back as well. I'm 5' with a small frame, and it has been difficult finding a front carrier that fits. This one fits great!

I was able to breastfeed while wearing this carrier, but now that he's bigger I have to remove him from the carrier in order to feed him. The carrier itself can remain strapped on.

When facing inward, my baby likes to gnaw on the straps. I use seat belt covers to protect them.

To address the drooling issue of the above poster--I always stick the ends of a burp cloth (or cloth diaper) into the pocket where the newborn neck support goes, then drape the burp cloth over the front so that I have plenty of material to catch the drool.

Just one thing I don't like--the foam cushion against your torso gets really hot and forms an unsightly wet spot on your shirt. I understand the foam is there for baby's comfort, but I wish it was made from a material that allows for air flow. Once summer is over this will be a non-issue. A small pocket for keys, etc. would have been nice, too.

a slimy slobber display of drewel

Comments about Pepe Carrier - Charcoal/Red:

this carrier has good intentions with the ability to wear your baby either way. the big downfall is that no matter what...the babies face is positioned right in front and so all the drewel just pools up on the front of the carrier and looks wet and leaves a wattery stain. I wish that they had designed this carrier with a different inset of drewel disguising fabric. it looks gross, and does not come out in the wash. the color is light grey..so it really shows up and looks cruddy. also..my son chewed on the little loop that is intended as a binky strap. it would have been great if they incorporated something there that was more teething friendly.
