Comments about Skate - Pois Black:
After doing much research during the last month of my pregnancy for strollers, it came down to the "Skate" Peg Perego and a different brand contender. Ultimately we decided on the Skate and are extremely glad we chose it. The Skate comes with a bassinet which our newborn was able to use from birth allowing him to nap with out being disturbed. The frame comes with one set of adapters so I can switch out between the bassinet, car seat, or for the future toddler seat as needed. I've had to hold my Baby in one hand while pushing the stroller with the other and it is the simplest maneuvering, which is the best part when it comes to pushing a stroller and a fussy baby.
Although at the beginning the Skate seemed very complicated, after the first two uses which I called the trial end error uses, it is a breeze to use. It's very simple to fold and unfold. The only down fall is loading onto the SUV I'm 5'2" so with out my husband it's quite a task. It's a bit heavy for me but I appreciate the workout. I would much rather have a durable and sturdy stroller than a flimsy one for my newborn. It's a bit bulky specially when you travel with all three; the strollers' frame, bassinet, and car seat, so having a large trunk or SUV wouldn't hurt.
Although it's a bit pricy it is completely worth every penny. Bottom line it was a great purchase.
