I got this frame as a gift for our first son about 2 years ago. Now that we have a second baby, I wanted a matching frame because it's very adorable. My first kit was easy to make/assemble. This one however was VERY DIFFICULT. The main problem was that the clay was WAY too sticky and soft(don't know if I just got a defective one, or they are all like that) Here are the problems because of the darn clay was not in workable condition:

1. The small wooden roller to roll out the clay stuck to it immediately and wouldn't roll at all. I happen to have a small plastic roller for my cake decorating needs so that worked in this case.
2. Lots and lots of air bubbles in the clay and I'm a perfectionist, so it drove me nuts and took serious like 30min or more for me to just roll out the darn clay to my liking.
3. After the frustration with the clay, finally I get to put my baby's foot on it, the clay is still so soft that it took a few try because his foot kept getting stuck to the clay so we couldn't be a clean foot print(that means more rolling and trying to get all the air bubbles out=(
4. A small plastic ruler to use for measuring and trim the edge to make the perfect rectangular shape, but once again the clay was so sticky that I had to wait about 2 hrs before cutting and it was not the perfect clean cut, but good enough because I was so frustrated by this point

Overall, if I didn't already had one for my 1st child and REALLY wanted a matching one for my 2nd child, I would have returned this product within 15 minutes of trying to make the foot print.
