We have tried, and for the most part liked, both Huggies and Pampers overnight diapers. They're definitely better than regular ones at night. However, we have had a lot of messy mornings in which the diapers have leaked and sometimes seemed to have'exploded' the absorbant gel material from inside the diaper. Our son will have it all over his body, in his crib, etc. It's messy and gross.

I did just speak with a customer service rep that assured me the materials are not harmful or toxic should baby or toddler ingest, which is top concern. While reassuring, it's still a mess that often requires an immediate bath and items to be washed. Maybe the diaper just can't handle our when it reaches capacity? Then it bursts as if someone has cut the top? I've seen others report this as well.

I'm typically brand loyal to Pampers so when they finally came out with what I thought was an overnight diaper, we were excited to try them. We have used other overnight diapers for our children so with our 24 month old, I wanted to compare. I'm sorry to say I was NOT impressed with this diaper. They do not hold up to 12 hours of protection. I have to change her in the middle of the night because she's soaked and that wakes her up. With the other overnight diaper, she sleeps through the night no problem. I'm sorry to say I'm switching back to what works for us. Pamers needs to go back to the drawing board.

I've been using these diapers for my son since he was probably around 6 months old because he has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 weeks old but couldn't fit into the smallest size until he was around that age.

I tried the Huggies after trying the Pampers & just was not impressed. I felt they were not very absorbant.

These though, seem to work like a charm.

The people who say that they don't fit right or leak clearly don't know how to put a diaper on. Although being a self proclaimed perfectionist I line everything up & then fasten the tabs. Sometimes the front sides move but I just fix them before bed and he's good.

Now, he's leaked a few times and that's because he's usually had almost an entire sippy cup of water before bed, babies aren't any different than us, we drink before bed, we have to go to the bathroom. I limit his liquids to stop 30 minutes before bedtime and we haven't had an issue since.

I also have never tried Pampers Baby Dry because I just assumed that they were regular day time diapers and couldn't hold up to a longer night.

I guess though, if you are still suffering with a baby who wakes in the middle of the night, maybe just stick to regular diapers?

Anywho, I hope this helped some of you more reluctant parents out there who are reading these other reviews, they're great diapers.

Going back to Huggies overnights. My 10 month old soaked these thru, soaked his onesie, soaked his PJs for the last 2 nights - he sleeps ~10-11 hrs. Might as well have used regular diapers. Useless.

My little guy kept on waking up every morning with the front of his jammies wet so I tried these and haven't had a problem since! We use Pampers regularly during the day and he wakes up wet from naps so I know these are really working. I've thought of putting these on him for naps but they're too expensive to use that much. Just wish they were a little cheaper!

These diapers do not have overnight diaper quality. I only used for 3 nights on my daughter. She leaked every night in them. They are thinner then daytime diapers. I use Pampers brand diapers, but Huggies overnights are by far way better. The only reason I ordered these was because Diapers.com doesn't currently carry Huggies overnights. I will not buy these again. We will have to use them for the daytime.

We use the Pampers Cruisers for regular use, but started having mornings where our son was a little wet. So we decided to try these for some extra protection. What a mistake. These offer way LESS overnight protection than the Cruisers. They leak out the top, front of the diaper, so his belly, pajamas and sheets are wet. They do not seem to "conduct" the wetness down to the rest of the diaper when he sleeps on his tummy or side. So whereas the Cruiser might be full all around his crotch, but he is dry, this supposedly more protective diaper fills only in front at the top and then leaks out. It is such a disappointing product. Why advertise something as more protective that is way less? Since we bought a large box, I have taken to just using them up as daytime diapers and use the cruisers for nighttime. Don't buy these if you want extra protection - because there isn't any.

Our twin girls used Pampers diapers since they were born and once we started using Size 3 and above we had tons of quality problems. These diapers explode and leak gel beads EVERYWHERE- it is a total mess. This was happening 8 out of 10 times. Switched to Huggies which fit better, don't leak gel beads, and are much better quality! Do not bother with theses diapers.

We have used these on our twins at night for maybe 8-10 months (they are now 16 months old). We've never, ever, I repeat, never ever had a problem with this diaper. We have a boy and a girl and they have a big bottle before bed, then sleep for 11 hours. They've always woken up dry. Their diapers are perfectly intact. I highly recommend these diapers.

This product advertises extended dryness for up to 12 hours. I have used this product for the past 3 nights and each time my son is soaked. This morning was the last straw. My son was soaked all the way up his entire chest. The product sizing also runs a bit small. My son weighs 19 pounds and is on the slender side. But the diapers were a bit smaller than the typical sizing of the Pampers brand.
I am very disappointed with this product. I would recommend that diapers.com stop carrying this product all together.

We are loyal Pampers Swaddlers customers for our twins but our son drinks alot and needs a pretty hefty diaper for night time. I'd first tried Huggies but since we used Pampers, I figured I'd try the Pampers brand for overnight. Unfortunately, right when I took the diaper out of the pack, I could feel that it didn't seem as thick. And sure enough, this morning when I went to change him, he had leaked out the front/top and his onesie/PJ's were wet. So sadly, we're going to have to go back to the Huggies brand for overnight.

I absolutely love these diapers!!!! When my son was 8 months we started having issues with him waking up in the morning soaking wet along with all his bedding. At the time he was wearing Pampers Cruisers size 3, so I decided to try him in the size 4 at night. At this point he was sleeping from 7:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. The leaks weren't as drastic in the size 4 but still leaks none the less. I felt so bad for him!!! No one wants to sleep covered in their own urine... gross!!!! So, I got online to see if there was any diaper that would be better for him. I found the extra protection diapers and promptly ordered them. I was so excited to see how well they would do compared to the cruisers. They DID NOT disappoint!!!!! The next morning my son woke up dry and his bedding was dry!!!! The diaper was super wet but he was dry. OH YES!!!! We finally found a diaper that works for us!!!!! I have read a bunch of negative posts about this diaper but all of the complaints those people have about this diaper have NEVER happened to us in the 4 months that we have been using them. Since every baby is different, you really don't know how they will work for your baby until you try them. Thank You Pampers for making such a wonderful product!!!

of the past 3 nights baby has woken up with exploded diaper. gel crystals and bits of fluff everywhere.. I had to put my son in the kitchen sink to hose him off. DO NOT BUY!
