Comments about Tot Training Cup (7 oz.) - Green:

My toddler has a cleft palate and cannot create the suction needed for spill-proof sippy cups with valves. But she's not quite ready for a regular cup either. Finding a training cup for her has been a real challenge, but this one fits the bill. It will spill if you tip it over, and that will happen with a toddler (but if you don't put a lot in the cup, the spilling is minimized). It is not a travel cup. It is nicely designed to slow the flow of liquid while mimicking the drinking action of a regular cup. Success!

Comments about Tot Training Cup (7 oz.) - Green:

This cup is fabulous for toddlers. The holes in the lid prevent too much liquid (and ice) from spilling out while my toddler drinks. It eases my mind that I won't have to clean up a big mess and my child likes to use it too!

Comments about Tot Training Cup (7 oz.) - Green:

This is a really neat cup, but my almost 16-month old isn't quite ready for it yet. He enjoys drinking from glasses, but can't handle one on his own and I thought this would help break him in. It says "slow flow" but the liquids aren't really slowed down. I think he'll get it with some practice and like that the insert can be removed to make this into a cup.

Comments about Tot Training Cup (7 oz.) - Green:

A great transition up. The perforated middle piece has holes all the way around so they don't get frustrated with orientation. And the solid middle is big enough to stop water from going up his nose (our big issue)! Nope, not spill proof - but that's what this transition cup is for. Slows the flow for him, but that is it. I'm very happy with it. I also like that the middle piece pops out and I will be able to continue using it as a regular cup - very valuable considering the cost of the cup.

Comments about Tot Training Cup (7 oz.) - Green:

No reason to buy this cup -- works the same as just giving your child a regular plastic cup with no top, since there are large, open holes all around the cover. Does NOT prevent any spills. Either use the sippy cup by OXO (which is great), or just use a regular cup if your child is ready.
