I bought this item and was really excited to use it once my baby started eating home-made purees and I absolutely hated it every single time after taking it apart, washing it and putting it back together - so time consuming and just way complicated for busy mom. There are many other products on the market that are safe, don't leak and don't require too much time to assemble after each wash.

I make all of my own baby food for my twins (I use the Beaba Baby Food Maker). Usually I freeze individual portions and store servings in ziplock baggies in the freezer; however, when I make fresh portions, these are the best containers that I have found. I can transfer purees or diced steamed vegetables and fruits directly into these containers and take them with us out of the house for meals. I love the ease of portability and the peace of knowing that I won't find leaks later. I have yet to discover baby food spills in my diaper bag (phew!). These containers store food well and stack neatly in the refrigerator or freezer. They are dishwasher safe.
