We've been using this chair about 5 months, since my son turned 1. It looks great, but I regretted the purchase almost immediately. He is a messy eater and gets food all over the seat cushions. During the cleaning process the food ends up on the plastic seat bottom, in the velcro, and smashed into the underside of the seat cushion. He also likes to turn around and pull the back cushion off and smear food around up there in the process. The backs of the cusions, which are fuzzy to adhere to the velcro on the plastic shell, are getting pretty gross as they can only be surface washed.

The tray is easy to take off and put on, but it is not a single piece of plastic so I worry about trapping water inside when I clean it leading to mold.

In retrospect, I wish we would have purchased a different brand that doesn't use velcro'd seat cushions and with a tray constructed out of a single piece of wood or plastic.

We are keeping this chair, it's pretty spiffy looking, but it's a terrible design.

I love this chair. It's easy to keep clean and so comfortable for my daughter. The tray is removable with one hand, which makes clean-ups much easier. It's a little pricey compared to some other brands, but I think it's worth it.

Every mom who has come over to our house says she wishes she bought this chair. It's super easy to clean. When I'm cleaning a high chair 5 times a day, it better be easy to clean! I just pop off the seat and wash it in the sink with everything else. No icky mildew under fabric, no where for food to hide. Plus, it's pretty to look at, adjustable for growth, and secure (my son can't Houdini out of this one, no matter how hard he tries.)

Great job, OXO. I would buy it again, in a heart beat.

This is a GREAT chair. My 8 month old loves it as well as my 2 yr old. It's made extremely well and easy to clean up! I've tried them all, it's my favorite.

We use this chair for our 16 month old daughter. I love how stable the chair is but as our daughter has became older and she is given more freedom to make a mess and spill the chair cushion and under the post has become extremely stinky if I don't clean it DAILY! I find it to be a major nuisance. So I called customer service and they offered to sell me another set of pads at 20% of the purchase price. Haha. Then I asked if I could wash my existing pads in the washer as they are a soft material on the back and act as a giant sponge and this would be the most effective way to clean them but they said no. So, I asked how to remove the velcro that attaches the pads and I was just going to use it without the pads....they didn't know which was shocking as the chair is supposed to grow with the child and be used without pads and the center post. At the end of the day, this chair looks great and is stable....but what a nightmare to maintain. Goes is the same category as the front loading washer. So, if that doesn't bother you, maybe this won't either.

This is the main chair we use for our daughter and are very happy with it. We have a small kitchen area so the small footprint is critical. The height is similar to our regular dining chairs so it doesn't stand out awkwardly like other chairs. I easily put it together in 30 min. Sometimes crumbs/food gets stuck in the crevices, but I think you experience this with any chair. It's easy enough to wipe down. We bought a second one for the other child in our nannyshare.

We tried using a Chicco chair which was really bulky and hard to clean. This one is so much better. It's compact, easy to clean, easy to move, just overall perfect for us.

We love this high chair. It is simple to use and easy to clean. You only need one hand to put the tray in and out which is very convenient.

This highchair is amazing. Not only does it look great -it is super easy to use/assemble. Best of all it's footprint is small, so doesn't take up too much room in our smaller sized kitchen. Highly recommended, definitely worth the money.

We love it! It looks great and is a lot more comfortable than the other wooden high chairs on the market that do not have cushions. Also we are really excited that it grows with our child into a seat and that it is not just a one use item.

As usual, OXO has developed a product that is stylish, well-made, practical and built to last. I was trying to decide between this chair and the Tripp Trapp, and I'm so glad I chose this one. The footprint is much smaller (no stubbed toes as I would have on the back legs of the Tripp Trapp). I love the design -- the clean lines, great colors, and ease of use. Form definitely follows function with this amazing chair! The seat cushions are attached with velcro on the bottom, so they are easy to detach and wipe clean.

It took me about 10 minutes to assemble, without reading the instructions. The materials are very high quality, and the chair is stable and easy to maneuver and get my LO in and out of very easily.

Im thrilled with this item in all aspects.

Finally. I searched a lot for a highchair that was a. Safe b. Good looking and c. Easy to clean. This combines everything I was looking for (even if I wasn't in love with the bright colors I have grown to like). I really wanted the t-bar connected to the chair rather than the tray for safety and I wanted something that didn't have prints that would distract my child from eating. I like meals to be for eating-not playing-so I didn't want toys and prints attached. We also like how easy it was to assemble. Nice sleek lines. Also like how the tray is flat and doesn't have an area for a cup holder and slides right out with one hand. Great chair!

I love this high chair. I received it yesterday and put it together before my husband got home from work. It was really easy to do... I was quite proud of myself. My daughter really seemed to enjoy being in it. The tray is easy to take on and off with one hand. I really like this feature so I can hold her in the other. It is very sturdy and will grow with her. I also like that the wood matches my hard wood floors. Now grandma wants one for her house.
