My 23-month old son has been using the playtex set since he was 10-months old and they did the job until he wanted more food on his fork & spoon. He would get frustrated trying to pick up food and wanted me to feed him all the time. But today when he tried out his new fork with this brand, he enjoyed feeding himself again! The curvy neck of these utensils allow him to scoop more food and have a better grip as well. They are also wide and big enough for his mouth to enjoy. I WILL BE BUYING MORE IN DIFFERENT COLORS. THESE ARE DA BOMB!

This is the greatest utensil set we've tried so far with our son. He's 16 months old, and starting to feed himself more regularly. Other spoons are so lightweight that the food gets flung. Or the handles are too long and skinny and hard to grasp. For a child feeding himself, these spoons are ideal because of their weight, the girth of the handle, and the curved shape of the metal part. Also I like that the part that's going into his mouth over and over again is stainless rather than plastic. We have two sets and they're holding up great.

This is a great product. We tried a lot of forks and spoons with our 2 year old son but this is the best of all.
It is easy to grab. It doesn't slip.
It is not too small like Gerber's similar products we own. And it is not too light (When the spoon is too light he sometimes spills the food.)
I always put them in the dishwasher and they still look brand new.
I have just ordered a new pair because I am going to throw away the others.
I know it is a pit pricey compared to other brands but I think its totally worth it because my son really feels confident about being able to eat by himself like a big boy!
