I love that the actual fork/spoon are stainless steel and not plastic. The set has perfect curves, so that the fork isn't sharp. They are the perfect length for my 2 year old (he's been using them for about 5 months). I've tried about 4 other brands and this is by far the best!

Thsi is a great first set of silverware. My son started with this set at 14 months after using the curved Sassy spoons to feed himself from around 8-10 months. The way the spoon dips allows him to easily scoop cereal and other soft foods. Since the fork is metal and not plastic, he can actually pierce food and use the fork as it is intended. The white part of the handle can stain with tomato or curry foods.

When my son was fifteen months we started teaching him how to use the spoon/fork like a big boy. He really likes this set. Some toddler spoons/forks have wavy shaped handles. He seemed to have a hard time managing those. This set is easy for him to hold and move from the plate to his mouth.

we love the OXO toddler sopon and fork set. The handle is thick, smooth and round, it fits perfectly into our little ones little hands. It also has a slight curvature so that when they are dipping the spoon to get some more oatmeal, they are actually able to really dig the spoon in there and pick up a big bunch. The spoon is big enough so that each time they do this, the spoon holds quite a bit of food. This allowed our little one to eat faster. He would get frustrated with the other spoon that only deliver a pea size of food each time! he would get exhausted of dipping and spooning and he would take forever to eat.
This spoon does not do that!
The fork is also like an adult fork, when he wants to pock and pick up an item, he can actually do that! after he pocks the item stays in the fork and it doesn't slide off.
We love these! and that is why we got a second pair!

It didn't solve my toddlers eating issues, but they are cute and I am sure will be used down the road
