I wanted to like these a lot. They have wide handles, small size spoon for little mouths, and a soft covering to protect little gums. However, the silicone cover keeps the smell/taste of previous food and/or the dishwasher detergent. (even if handwashing with hot, hot water.) I just end up using our regular (adult) spoons now.

I have used these spoons since my daughter first started solids, and I really like them. They are long handled, and the grip is comfortable, which I like. The coating on the spoon end is also soft rnough for her gums and she can chew on it a bit, but it isn't too soft like some other baby spoons we tried. I also like the flatter edge of the spoon, it's ideal for purees. I just purchased another set for my babysitter to keep at her house.

I'm moving away from plastic to silicone and glass and stainless steel. So, the first most obvious place is my baby's spoon. Got rid of all the plastic ones and found these and the Munchkin silicone ones.

Both are great and I can't decide which one I like better!

I'm surprised that I'm so excited about a baby spoon but these are awesome. With my first child I tried many, many, many spoons. They were all fine but not great. These are by far the best. Thank you OXO for finally making a great baby spoon!

I never write reviews but I just HAVE to about this spoon. It is by far the best spoon out there.. My six month old son eats very well from it and it has a good handle for the parent.. Do not hesitate to buy this, it is a fantastic product. It scoops up food perfectly and scrapes bowl great. I love love love it. OXO is awesome!

This spoon is perfect for my son who is 8months now. I started him off with a small spoon from tiffany's that we got as a gift but now he's graduated and i couldn't ask for a better spoon. He's teething now too so he can bite down on the spoon and won't hurt his gums due to the rubber.

Great spoons for first foods/new eaters. the tip is super soft on teething gums. easily cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand. I bought a set of 2 and the next week bought 2 more I loved them so much. Good length handle as well. Sturdy build.
