This is a great option for city parents. If you walk everywhere it's a life saver (granted this orbit arrangement is rather big for most car trunks). However, for city parents this is the best of the best. Here are few of the high points:

- Reclines every which way, perfect for active babies and napping babies. When fully reclined it's as good as a bassinete, or bed for that matter.
- Super large sunshade, which not only looks great, keeps the baby protected, but really seriously keeps the sun out of the little one's face.
- Super tough, we've put probably 1,000 walking miles on this thing and it's fine.
- Narrow- great for small shops/restaurants, and trains.
- The rotation, lets you turn the kid to fit the situation, and makes it great to use as a high chair when eating out
- Great tray
- The stroller seat, with the pod, and pannier bags makes this the perfect "out all day shopping stroller" great for running errand in all kinds of situations
- When you do have to break it down (for smaller city dwellings) the stroller collapses with one hand, which is nice.

Bottom line this seems to be sort of a perfect seat for people who do a ton of walking and want something really versatile and comfortable for long periods of time. If you spend most of your life in a car, it's probably not worth the extra cost. Get an umbrella stroller.

I have already washed and replaced the seat fabric twice and it's very easy to remove and re-position. I also love how the seat goes in every angle you can think of, which is great for letting the child see the world while you stroll. The built-in snack tray is my daughter's favorite.

First of all, let me start out by saying I love the Orbit infant system! It's great! It's so easy to use with the 360 turn base and stroller. Unfortunately our son grew out of the infant seat by 5 1/2 months so we had to look into other options. Seeing as the Orbit toddler car seat was so heavy we didn't feel we would ever take it in and out like the infant seat so we decided to just go with a Britax convertible seat. As for the stroller I figured we'd give the Orbit toddler seat a try. We got it in and I have to say I loved a lot of things about it. The large canopy, reclining positions 360 turn ability. It has lots of little zipper pockets and the snack try is really nice. But the thing that made us decide not to keep it was that now we had two pieces to deal with when getting in and out of the car and it does take up a lot of trunk space. Another thing that I didn't like about it was, to use up less room you are supposed to lay the seat on the stroller base but in doing so you are putting the canopy on the tires. I can't think of anywhere you could live and not have dirty tires, but we live in Denver. So when there's snow and dirt all over your tires, you would get it on your canopy (which is a light gray). Some other issues were, we have a first generation Orbit and it doesn't work quite as well as it would with a G2. The seat won't lock in any position but facing forward or facing out. The front wheels on the G1 don't lock, so you can't lay the seat on it and pull it like demonstrated in the ad. Unlike the infant car seat that seems like it could be hit by a bus and still keep your baby safe. The stroller seams less sturdy.
Like I said, I do love the infant Orbit system. I think it's great and so easy to use. The toddler stroller seat just didn't work for us.
