This book is my 11 month old's favorite, he looks at it all the time. It's simple and tiny, but the perfect size for him to drag around and he loves to open the little doors to see who is inside. A hit!

This book was really cute and my 18 month old son really likes it. He is learning his animal names and sounds and I thought this book would help with that. It is really small, I would have preferred it bigger. But it is easy for him to hold and open the flaps. Overall its a cute book.

At 15 months, this book is a hit. Cute illustrations, fun flaps for my little boy to open, and for once it's a board book longer than 5 or 6 pages! Yes, simple words, but keeps my little one's attention for the whole book, learning the animals, the sounds they make, I wish I could find another by the author with a different set of words and pictures!

not as exciting as i hoped. My 2 year old loves books and barns and farm animals, i thought this would be a new favorite. However he never selects it to read and is not interested in listening to this book

Excellent book! It was my daughter's favorite from about 7 months to 14 months. She was able to hold it and open the doors herself at about 9 months. I would definitely recommend it. When reading it, it was fun to make the animal sounds and see my baby respond. Then she got a fun picture to see behind every door.

Great book for the diaper bag and for traveling especially.

My son will only sit for a handful of books and this is one of them. He is drawn to animals and animals sounds so in that respect this book works for him. However, it seems cheaply made. During our first read through some of the flaps were very difficult to open and ripped. Overall it serves its purpose but it certainly is not a high quality book - not in content or manufacturing.

This book is very cute, my daughter learned her animals and sounds because of this book and it is a great book to take in the car, dr's etc....I definatley recommend this book I bought it when she was 6 mos old and she still plays with it a year later.

Cute, simple, easy to handle, fun flaps for small fingers to lift and open. We use this one alot, so it has some wear on the flaps, but I wouldn't say flimsy. Yes, the words are simple, but thats why its a first reader for infants--mommies usually expand on the vocabulary right? The inside pages for example are "Who says neigh?" you lift the flap and it reads, "a pony". Mommy or daddy always expands on the text to provide baby with a rich vocabulary. Definitely a favorite for our 15 month old. Bought it when he turned 10 months and he really loves it now. Sturdy, fun, cute!

Among our sea of books, this is one of his favorites. He loves to lift the cardboard flaps, is beginning to imitate animal sounds, points to different easy to see objects on the page, and can hold the book himself due to the child friendly size. Bought it when he was 1 and he loves it still at 15 months. Nice simple book.

Not sure what it is with this book, but my daughter absolutely LOVES it! It is very cute and grows with the child (first you open the flaps for them and eventually they learn to do it themselves, which makes the book seem "new" again). We've read it so many times, it's literally falling apart, and I've had to tape the binding. Great for airplane rides!

This book is great around 6-12 months. The little flaps can be hard to flip at first but it gets easier. It helps them build memorization skills by having them remember where to open the flap. It also introduces all the animals and their sounds. This was my daughters favorite book for quite a while

This is a great board book that keeps our very active toddler interested. He loves learning the animal names and sounds, and the lift the flap adds an extra level of interest. It's also strong enough that he hasn't torn any of the flaps off yet. We took this on a recent road trip and managed to keep him occupied for a good 20 minutes when we just didn't have time to stop and let him play.

My 16 month old son loves this book. He's into all the animals and loves pulling the flaps back to see what's under each page. The best thing about this one is the size, it's super small so he can carry it in his hands easily. It's one of the top 5 fav books for him and I think we'll be reading it a lot! You never know when bying something online and I was very glad I came across this cute little book.
