Bought for my 6 month old and we love it! It is easy for him to try to hold himself and he can actually sip from it. Flow is kind of slow, but that is the point for the age. I know some other brands have larger cups for ounces, but by far my favorite feature is the fact that it is only 5 ounces because it makes it lighter weight and easier for him to handle.

I absolutely love this zippy cup. It was the only one I could transition my toddler from, he was rejecting all other ones in favor of his bottle. We tried a number of different brands to no avail until I gave him this sippy cup. He took it right away and never again thought about his bottle. And a surprising feature that came useful was the removable handles. I never would have guessed that that's what he'd want, but he won't drink from the cup unless the handles are off.

My only gripe is that the spout needs to be replaced relatively frequently.

This is the only sippy cup I've purchased that my daughter can comfortably drink from, and doesn't seem to have to work too hard.

My 6 month old son has an easy time holding this and can get the nipple into his mouth without too much difficulty. But, nothing seems to come out when he tries to drink from it. I even tried myself and could barely get a drop out. So I'm not sure that this actually teaches him how to drink from a sippy cup. But it's a very fun toy and good for hand-eye coordination.

love this cup! it is great for a first learner but also can continue to use as they get older. only prob is if you child leans on it upside down the spout can open and liquid can drip out.

I tried several sippy cups until another mom recommended the Nuk Learner. It was by far the best one that my exclusively breast-fed baby took to. He started drinking successfully from it at around 11 months old and now that he's 1 -he's a pro!

Very good transition sippy cup...and like most I have tried many! Hopefully diapers.com will start to carry replacement silicone spouts (baby won't take the latex ones). Easy to clean without a lot of parts. Babies can get liquid out without too much effort. Babies do bite the top of cup which can damage the spout, make the flow too fast and keep cup from being leak proof (which is why replacement spouts are necessary). Overall excellent sippy cup.

At first my twin boys did great with these. We had tried sooo many sippies, so I was really happy when they drank easily from these. Now that they are getting teeth, they are using the spout as a teething tool. I have tried to get them to stop biting it (try telling a 9 mo old to stop doing something.. ha) but it never fails that they pierce it and it starts pouring out everywhere. They have ruined several. Since there aren't replacement nipples, I cannot keep buying these sippies. I guess I will have to find one with a harder spout. Ugh.. I would recommend these, but hopefully you don't have the same problem as I'm having. Overall, I think these are great. They just need to make replacement nipples.

This sippy cup trainer was great until my son learned how to suck. Now, he just chokes all the time. The handles are great as he can hold them with ease. But, the choking factor puts me off from using it at all in the future.

This sippy is the best I have tried so far. My 6-month-old drinks from it easily, unlike from the others I tried. Some of the other sippies have vent systems make the baby swallow a lot of air, not this one! It's also very convenient that it comes with a cap and seal for travel. Couldn't get any better!

I tried several other cups before getting the Nuk including: Platex, Munchkin, Avent, and Nuby. My daughter would push all of these cups away and refuse to take them. This cup was my last resort before just giving up and waiting until she could drink out of a regular cup. I filled the Nuk up and gave it to her and to my amazement she drank out of it! I would recommend this cup to anyone who is having trouble getting their child to drink out of a sippy cup.

No matter what I did when assembling this, once baby got a hold of it the spout would pull out just enough to squirt him right in the face!
