This was the first sippy cup we tried with our son and we never looked back. It has never leaked, and the silicone sippy part was close enough in texture to a bottle nipple, that the transition was quick and easy. If you're looking to start your child out on a sippy cup, I highly recommend giving these a shot.

By far the best sippy out there available. I will never go with any other sippy/+stage cups I will always stick with Nuk.. My son will not drink out of any other sippy cups and I have yet to have it leak other than when the nipple is squeezed purposely while not being drank from! Completely worth the money.. Cheap and the perfect first sippy! Also being a breastfeeding mother my son had never had a bottle and I wanted to find a sippy that wasn't easy to get milk/water out of nor was it too difficult! All and all nothing I can say bad about it!

If your child likes a fast flow spout this is not your sippy cup. It comes out too slow and my son got frustrated.

This cup is a great cup for transitioning a baby off of a bottle. However, once they have teeth up and down, they can bite holes in the top which causes the cup to leak.

FIrst, I like to choose what I like, so I was not happy with "Green or Blue, let us choose for you". I wanted blue, I got green. Whatever. At first we thought this cup was great for our baby to help with the transition from bottles to cups. And for a while, it worked fine.

Then, our 12 month old figured out if he turned upside down and pressed the nipple on his tray, the water flowed out freely. No sucking necessary, the water just squirts right out. Tons of fun for him, lots of soggy mess for me!

We don't use it anymore. Too bad.

I bought 3 of these Nuk sippy cups for my 9 month old. He likes drinking water from them and these do a great job. I really wanted the sailboat one, but I received the dragonfly one. There was no place to specify which color you want. I thought I was getting the sailboat one, since that was the color pictured.

Several other reviewers have said they can't find replacement nipples. Other than the manufacturer's website, I've found them at [@] if you do a search for "NUK Replacement Silicone Spout" and you'll see several options!

This is the only sippy cup my daughter would drink from! At first she also liked the Playtex but I just tried to give her that one and she doesn't take it at all! I got her a Nuby one because it has more Oz but still she wouldn't drink from it! She only likes this one but I wish I could find it in 8oz! Great cup! highly recommend

Ladies, as I read the reviews, there are answers to several of your complaints. Although this website does not offer the replacement silicone nipples, www.nuk-usa.com does. If your child does not like handles and/or you want a larger cup, they offer a 10 oz. active cup option. I found this cup for my 5th kid, and man I wish I had this with the others when trying to transition from bottle to cup. Yes, a teething child may chew this nipple, but it can be replaced! I have used hard nipple cups, and nothing can be done once they're all chewed up. Hope this info helps!

After a month or two of trying to get my baby to drink from ANY sippy/straw cup, this one finally stuck and now it's his favorite. Now that he's FINALLY off the bottle, we're trying to move on to straw/regular cups, while this is his most reliable cup for now. Easy to clean and love the volume measurements on the side of the cup. Also, the handle contraption is great, because it keeps the cup bottom-heavy, thus keeping it right side up (most of the time). :) My only other comment is that my baby loves to chew on the spout, so it can wear out easily....

This is the only sippee cup my 18 month old son will drink from. That being said, it is a HUGE disappointment that the same clear nipple is not available for replacement. The colored replacement nipples available are completely different; I tried it myself & could not get any fluid to flow out! So, I will wind up buying several of the entire cup again. Why can't they sell the original clear nipples separately???

I tested this out before giving it to the kiddo and it's pretty difficult to get liquid out of this. I had to suck really hard! I'm using the sippy cup as a way of moving from a bottle to a cup, as I would imagine most people do, and I don't think this is much different than a bottle. It's been stored in the cabinet since I bought it.

My son used this product a handful of times. I loved it at first, it did not leak easy for him to hold etc. One day after I handed it too him for a stroller ride I noticed his chest was soaking wet. In examining the cup I saw that the nipple was wide open. He must have bitten a piece of the nipple off. So now it is not usable...again after only having and using the product a handful of times. Disappointed to say the least.

Bought for my 6 month old and we love it! It is easy for him to try to hold himself and he can actually sip from it. Flow is kind of slow, but that is the point for the age. I know some other brands have larger cups for ounces, but by far my favorite feature is the fact that it is only 5 ounces because it makes it lighter weight and easier for him to handle.

I absolutely love this zippy cup. It was the only one I could transition my toddler from, he was rejecting all other ones in favor of his bottle. We tried a number of different brands to no avail until I gave him this sippy cup. He took it right away and never again thought about his bottle. And a surprising feature that came useful was the removable handles. I never would have guessed that that's what he'd want, but he won't drink from the cup unless the handles are off.

My only gripe is that the spout needs to be replaced relatively frequently.
