I used to use cotton cloth wrapped around my finger to clean my 4 month olds mouth. Now I use this. It fits my finger perfectly, any plumpier and I might have had to use my little finger. I didnt use the clenser yet. I think she is too small for that. In any case she doesnt have any teeth yet so I think the finger brush works fine for now.

I have been disappointed with this product. My son's pediatrician recommended a finger toothbrush. The material of this toothbrush is extremely thin. My 10-month-old is too young to understand not to bite down when I put the brush inside his mouth, so he often bites down with his sharp teeth on my finger and it is very painful. Perhaps if the material were not so flimsy, it would not be so painful. This product might be better for older children who understand not to bite down on it.

I got it because one of my boys had bad odor from his mouth. It did help with this problem! Also, I was thinking that it is going to be difficult to clean baby's mouth. In fact, it is very simple because baby cooperates. :-) Actually, my kids love it. I guess coming teeth cause itchiness therefore gum massaging with a brush feels pleasant. And, yes, I will recommend it to a friend. In fact, I just sent a link to this product to one of my friends.:-)

I use this with my infant every day. He is teething and it seems to help ease some of his discomfort as I massage his gums with the brush. It is super easy to use since you just put it on your finger. I think it has gotten him used to having me put things in or near his mouth which will eventually help with feeding and medicine administration. Not to mention, create healthy habits of teeth brushing!
