The bug a loop teether really gets to my sons back molars! He uses it for oh so much more than a teether though! It is a pool toy, a bath toy, a bracelet, a crown and of course a hat!

Comments about Bug a Loop Teether:

This teether is dangerous, ALERT after using it for only two months I noticed that paint started chipping off around the nuby logo area. My baby was only 7 months old with only two teeth when this happened , I would never recommend this teether.

Comments about Bug a Loop Teether:

My son cut his first teeth before he was 4 months old and didn't care for anything cold. I got a RazBerry teether and it's great, but a little big for his mouth right now. I wanted something he could easily hold on to that had more than one texture without it costing me a lot. I saw many other teethers just like this by other brands that didn't have as high of a rating and I thought "there isn't much of a difference....is there?" THERE IS! This is made of different materials and it's very colorful and easy (and fun) for my son to chew on! Currently, this is his favorite!

My 4 month old liked this teether fairly well; however, once her two bottom teeth came in I noticed she was scraping the paint off of the ring's bee character when she chewed on it. I don't care how non-toxic the paint is, I don't want my daughter ingesting it. The whole thing should be made of colored rubber instead of some pieces being painted. I would not buy it again.

I bought this for my 6 month old who has his 2 bottom teeth coming in. He was able to chew off one of the bugs wings and its feet. I had to do a finger sweep to remove the plastic pieces from his mouth! This is a safety/ choking hazzard that all potential buyers should be made aware of!

This is my daughters favorite toy. She has several teethers, this is the only one that she constantly plays with and gums non-stop. It is better that some of her other toys/teethers as it collapses if she hits herself in the head. We flew to Virginia and she played with it non-stop on the plane, inbetween flights, and in her carseat. The only problem I have found so far is that the nuby logo is rubbing off. I reccomend links with it so that you can attach it to a highchair so that you don't have to clean it every time she throws it down.

We have been given and bought OODLES of teething items, this one by far is a fav, no the ONLY 1 our daughter uses since 4months of age. It tucks easily into diaper bag, and is light enough for her to grip and bring to mouth, a problem she seems to have with the others. I think another Fav part is that there a NuMbEr of different teething textures to this "toy". This is a MUST HAVE for any drooling non stop, throwing up from fingers in mouth to bitting due to teething baby!!I've read the "bad" revieves, I think I must have a newer version, because it looks "color wise" a lil different, and we have PULLED and TUGGED on the rope! It's not comming apart! ENJOY!! but like anything...under adult supervison, right!!!

My son loved playing with this teether. He actually used the teether more to put around his wrist than as a teether. I think this teether is too hard to bite on.

Received this as a gift. It's cute, but I don't think it's soft or pliable enough to make for a good teether--and all of the crevices make it too bacteria-friendly for my liking (I want something I can just rinse without having to worry). Lastly, a different version of this teether got recalled. It wasn't this item precisely, so maybe I shouldn't mention it, but it was the same company. Bottom line, the poor design and "made in China" aspect make me think you can find a better quality teether. And for something they're putting their mouths, it's worth getting one that's better.

Our teething ring is on its second round and my son loves it just as much as my daughter did. I have included this ring in care packages to friends with new babies and have often been asked where I got it so they could get a backup. So easy for the babies to grasp and colorful/busy to keep them occupied.

It's a really handy thing to have! It works as a toy and an 'evolving' teether, as it has different colors and textures, such as rubber parts and plastic parts. As it has different shapes they can bite around it for the first (in the front, the softer parts) to the last teeth in the back (the bulky hard parts)!
The cons... it's about the cleaning, as it is always falling... when we wash it, the bigger plastic parts are hollow plastic, so you can't wash it with detergent as it can get in there and it's hard to remove it!

My son doesn't really like it or use it that much. Nor does he exactly hate it either. He's indifferent about it and will hold it just to hold it but it doesn't stay in his hand for long. It doesn't catch his interest. And like the other reviewers say, the Nuby logo does rub off when teethed on.

My daughter is teething and was chewing her hands so hard they were turning red. We tried the teethers you put in the fridge, but she wouldn't use them. She loves this, and strangely enough she likes the shockingly hard plastic parts the most! Great teething toy.

LOVED this product until the butterfly bug split in half while me 8 month old daughter was "chewing" on it. Half the bug fell in my lap and we found the other half in her mouth! So glad we were in sight when this occured. She has 2 bottom teach barely cut through so I don't think she could have bit it in half. Scary situation; thankful it turned out OK.
