My friend recommended this cup after I had tried two other cups on my 6mth old. I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter started sucking immediately.

That being said, I agree with one of the past review that said the handles get in the way when you try and screw the top part on, which makes it tricky to screw it on well and maybe that's why some people complain that it leaks. The other thing is, its bulky, so big for my daughters little hands...I would have loved it if they had them in smaller 4oz sizes.

This started out as a great cup for my infant, but after a few washes and having to pull the seal out of the lid and then re-position it after cleaning they started to leak. More water would run out of the cup than my daughter would drink. It was a hard cup to thread correctly because the handles touched the cup, so you can't spin the lid with out moving your hands around. This was a good idea, but bad design. Also, if you do not pull the seal out every time, liquid gets between it and the lid and molds.

These cups leaked from the minute we started using them. Extremely dissapointed - will never buy again.

I bought this sippy cup as a replacement to a munchkin sippy cup that we got as a hand-me-down. My 7mo old son can grab it and bring it to mouth pretty easily. He seems to really enjoy chewing the spout too. Unfortunately, we've had several accidents with the top popping off when my son drops it on the floor. For some reason, I have a hard time screwing the top on properly. Luckily we have hardwood floors, so wiping up the water is easy. I would be more annoyed if we had carpet.

My daughter started using this cup when she started drinking milk. In less than a month I noticed that the spout was leaking. Much to my surprise the spout was torn...so I sent in her other sippy to daycare...it hasn't been a full week and that one is torn inside as well. She's had a Tommee Tippee sippy cup for over 6 months and that one is still not leaking...going back to them for sure.

My daughter just turned seven months. I had tried out other sippy cups before and this is the only non-leaking, soft spouted sippy cup I have find. She is easily able to grab it and does not have to tip her head back so far to take a sip.

I love this cup! The playtex sipper cups that get great reviews have that extra valve to wash inside. I have enough things to wash. This cup is easy to use, great for a baby who is starting to use a sippy cup. There is no leakage where the lid screws on. At the spout some liquid can drip out when the cup is left sideways or upside down so I probably would not use with milk but it works fine with water.
