these are great for my crawler learning to stand and walk but wearing them outside the thread around the toes freyed and they are now falling apart. still giving them 5 stars becasue I believe they were made for indoor use, keeping her feet warm and stops her from slipping on linoleum floor so she can practice her standing and steps.

This mocassin is great for my baby- she also has chubby ankles and the elastic on robeez would pinch her. She is learning to stand and needed a soft bootie with some traction to keep her from slipping. Today is the first day she wore them and she has way more control standing compared to with just socks. They are comfy so I don't feel like I need to take them off for naps and they stay on her feet all day.

My 10 month old has chubby ankles and calves, so we had a hard time finding a shoe that fit her - other popular soft leather soled shoes left indentations around her ankles if she wore them for too long. I love these moccasin style sock/shoes because they're soft and comfortable for her, and easy for me to get them on her. She's not walking yet, but she needed a shoe for daycare to protect her feet while crawling around outside. These shoes definitely fit the bill. You could also use them as indoor slippers for an older child. We bought the 12 month size when she was about 9 months and the fit is pretty good, although she does have large feet for her age. I throw them in the washing machines once a week and they come out good as new. LOVE these shoes! We're definitely buying a second pair.
